I kind of feel that as we come close to the Lord we become like coals of fire in the altar before the Lord…

There’s a passage in Ezekiel (two passages actually) which indicates (indicate) that the coals of fire are sitting underneath the Lord near the Cherubim who surround the Lord (Ezekiel 1 & Ezekiel 10)…

I feel that as we come closer and closer to the Lord all we care about is His Glory…

We don’t care about our own lives…

We don’t care about our own glory…

We don’t even care about the promises which the Lord has made us…

We seem to be caught up in this place where it is truly all about Him…

We seem quite content in this place…

We don’t seem to have any need to go anywhere else…

We don’t seem to want to be known…

Or to achieve anything particularly…

But just to be there and be burnt in the Fire of His Holiness…

His Glory in the burning – the burning which we long for to make us into His Likeness…

His Likeness in the Likeness of His Glory…

He burns…

He burns with a brilliant fire…

He is Fire…

A Consuming Fire…

We burn in the Altar…

Like coals of fire in His Altar…

He says, “Do not strive in My Presence” conversely He says, “Do not resist My Holy Spirit”…

These two instructions from the Lord define the place in the Fire as a coal of fire in the Altar, the Hand, of the Lord…

We are yielded to Him…

To do whatever He likes with our lives…

We are not pretending to be able to do what He tells us to do…

Quite the opposite…

But we are willing to remain on His Altar until He burns in us the ability and the desire and the motivation and the ability to achieve the things which He has instructed us to complete and to perform…

This is our place – waiting as a coal of fire on His Altar for Him to perfect in us through the flames of the suffering which He permits in our lives for us to be ready and raised up to complete His will…

Only in His Time…

We will go and we will do and we will return…

In fact never leaving that place – the coals of fire…

The Fire from His Altar is purifying…

Pure…

Powerful…

Holy…

There is nothing of self in it…

The Fire from His Altar is what we need to practically sanctify us to the Lord – set us apart to the Lord…

We are eunuchs to Him…

Set apart for Him in the spiritual realm…

He holds our hearts – He has our hearts…

As we go lower, He goes deeper…

Deeper – to the source, to the core of who we are…

We see things from His Perspective…

We are changed…

We are changed in the Fire…

I came across an old Keswick hymn or chorus in my Nanny’s hymnbook from when she was newly saved (sometime in the 1930’s) back in England before her family came to New Zealand in the early 1950’s (I’ve just found a version of it at the following link http://ehymnbook.org/CMMS/hymnSong.php?folder=p30&id=pd30531 )…

One version of the chorus said,

My all is on the Altar, I’m waiting for the Fire, I’m waiting, waiting, waiting, I’m waiting for the Fire…

I started singing it the other day…

Our all is on the Altar, We’re waiting for the Fire, We’re waiting, waiting, waiting, We are waiting for the Fire…

I started singing the above after singing it personally as I sensed there are a group of us in this situation throughout the world who are waiting for the Fire…

The Baptism of Fire…

I saw that we are waiting and as we wait the Lord is pleased to increase our desire – we will not wane in our desire – we want nothing else – and there will be a time when the Fire is tipped out from heaven and scorches our very beings – He will tip out His Fire on us – yes I am mixing my metaphors – and we will be changed but we will also remain as coals of fire in His Altar – this will never change…

There really is a separation in this place – the Fire separates…

Anyone who does not want to walk in the Fire of God is separated from us…

We stand alone with others who are willing – made willing by the Lord – to walk in the Fire of God – no one else wants to join us…

I see this – but once given this by the Lord there is nothing else, nowhere else that you would rather be – in His Fire – experiencing the death that He gives – the stripping, the ending that makes to all our natural desires and to all our natural affections…

Everything is yielded in this place…

Even things which we believe are from Him…

There is the good – the permissible – and the best and we start to see that the best is more satisfying than the permissible – our desire for His Glory and for His Pleasure – His Pleasure on our lives becomes so strong that we let go of the promises which He has made us – which we have “held Him to” because they involve our own pleasure and we begin to petition Him “against ourselves” for those who would be affected by those decisions and we begin to seek Him selflessly for His Glory and the betterment of those affected with the promises which we believe He has made us…

In this place we care only for Him…

We do not even care for our own lives…

This is the place where we experience the Fellowship of Sharing in His Sufferings…

becoming like Him in His death – His death was complete – not just His Physical Death but His death which He died as He lived on this earth – His Death – He died to everything which He ever wanted, even good things like being with His Father so that He could save us from our sins – the permissible versus the best and He went through it because He was so close to the Father’s Heart that He no longer cared about Himself…

I believe I’ve just seen something – I suppose that entire Post with all the comments are relevant to where the Lord has been taking me – kind of “building up” to that comment I suppose (I sense that)…

I was talking to the Lord as I caught the bus in to work this morning and he was showing me that all sexual perversion comes from the desires of the flesh…

Fairly simple, you might say, but I saw it fairly clearly…

All the “need” – the “need” to be loved – comes from the flesh – it does not come from God…

God loved us – it was given freely – it didn’t need to be “desired” or “longed for” or “reached out for” – it was freely given…

We rejected this…

In the Garden we rejected this…

This opened us up to all manner of “needs”…

“Needs” to have “this, that and the other thing” in place of what we already had with the Lord…

Freely given to us by the Lord for our enjoyment…

Our control, our taking control only served to cause a whole lot of “need” in us…

Trying to fill a void which only existed because of our rebellion against God…

It is all so simple when He explains it to us…

So simple…

All homosexual desires are based on a desire to be loved by men…

The Lord had this whole area covered as He is our Father and Jesus is our Brother…

There is nothing sexual in our Love towards the Lord in this way but the flesh twists and perverts and as it won’t submit to God’s way it is open to be deceived by the devil and his demons and controlled (just as we hoped to do, i.e. be in control) to commit “indecent acts”…

All sexual immorality is our flesh telling us that we deserve intimacy and we are not getting it so we can “go out” and “find it” wherever we want to…

Coveteousness – “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” (Exodus 20:17 NASB) – is wanting anything which the Lord has not given us (that’s what He told me back in Manila) – I completed another Post on this awhile back…

This is what the flesh does – it can’t control itself as it wanted to be in control unfortunately it actually lost control and cannot resist whatever is suggested to it by the enemy…

In the Spirit – in the new self which the Lord has given us – as He reveals Truth to our inward parts we see this deception and we see that it is the lust of our flesh…

We start to understand that it is not something which the Lord has placed within us to want things so desparately and not be able to get them – it is not – as He says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart” – but instead that all these “pains” which we go through in terms of wanting things which we cannot have – are actually just a result of the flesh not getting its own way…

This is painful and causes us pain but it is part of our death…

How many desires which we believe have been given to us by the Lord actually are from the Lord?

I saw a picture last week some time of all the desires of my heart – it was like I was standing on a great wall (kind of like the great wall of China I suppose) and as I gave my desires to the Lord and asked him to establish His desires and remove mine I saw a whole lot of “structures” (maybe like those parts which “stick up” at the top of the wall) disintergrate – literally like dust – they were gone…

I saw that what the Lord has placed in me in terms of desires will stand and everything else will be obliterated and vanish like dust – I surrendered to this…

I had never seen it so clearly…

Everything that is of Him will stand, everything that is of me will be removed…

This is His will…

This is His plan…

He will not give us what we want (when what we want is not what He wants for us)…

He loves us too much…

We will be found fighting against Him if we hold on to our own desires…

They will not stand…

His will…

He is not holding out on us…

He is waiting until we submit to His will…

Have a think about it and think, “what if some of the things which I’ve been ‘hanging onto’ are actually the desires of my flesh and not from the Lord?” – it might answer some of those “nagging questions” you have – like the ones I’ve had also…

I gave all my desires back to the Lord and let them go – the ones which are of Him will stand…

Nothing else will…

This might be messy for me…

I am willing…

It will be good…

His desires will stand – if they’re His desires He will bring them to fruition – I will enjoy this – when He brings them to fruition and He will carry me until they do – cos they’re His desires – not mine…

Hallelujah!!!

I don’t have to try and believe things which I believe He has spoken to me – if He really has then He will bring them to pass – and He will give me the faith to endure until they do…

No one may understand this but He does and at the end of the day that is all that matters…

So back to what He showed me this morning – truly love has no expectation on anyone – love is not “needy” – it doesn’t have any needs – yes, we seek to be understood, we seek to be accepted and we seek to be trusted – we seek, as Jesus did, support from those who are are friends, a shoulder to cry on or just someone to share with regarding what we are going through but love doesn’t demand this or get “hacked off” when it can’t have this – it accepts all things and accepts all “slaps in the face” which it gets along the way…

It offers unconditional acceptance to the one who would receive it…

It keeps offering and offering and offering until the Lord who is offering through us withdraws this offer (even in the “withdrawal” of this offer there is no bitterness or “self protection” – there is sadness only, deep sadness)…

We have a mandate to love all mankind…

It is the Lord’s call when the offer has “expired” for any of His Creation – for those who do not know Him – it never expires for those who do – we keep loving – no matter what the response is – no matter if this love is “silent” or “expressed” we keep loving as He keeps placing this love in our hearts…

We do not seek to be known but are happy to keep loving whether we are known or not – whether those we are loving ever know that it was us who were the reason they experienced breakthroughs in their lives or whether they do not cos at the end of the day we are just His servants – we are only doing this cos He’s opened our eyes – it’s Him doing it through us – we are seeing Him working through us – we are not seeing ourselves – it’s Him working through our new selves…

As we experience this love working through us there is truly nothing in us to cause us to stumble…

Our greatest weapon is forgiveness…

When we are hurt it exposes more flesh to be removed…

When we get to a place where there is no hurt we are free from our flesh…

We are all heading in this direction, Praise His Holy Name, those of us who know the Lord…

I was sitting in at work late on Friday night (17 Aug 12) and chatting with one of my work colleagues about friendship and who you can have friendships with, i.e. can men have friendships with women who they are not married to? and he was listening – I was asking his honest opinion about these things as he’s from a younger generation than I am (I feel so old saying that :-)) – anyway I found it coming out of my mouth that to be understood, accepted and trusted by a friend even if that friend is a woman who you are not married to and have no sexual relationship with is better than having sex with someone who you are married to but don’t experience understanding, acceptance and trust from…

Sexual intimacy without having understanding, acceptance and trust from the person you’re having sex with is empty…

Even if you can’t be married to someone but can have understanding, acceptance and trust from that person, that is better and more fulfilling than sexual “intimacy” without those “heart” things, i.e. understanding, acceptance and trust…

Maybe this is a “man thing” I don’t know but when I heard myself saying it I knew that it was true and it solidified something for me…

I had a really good talk to my work colleague – it was natural and I felt benefitted and I believe he did too… 🙂

“The icing on the cake” – that’s what my wife has told me sex is…

She has explained that for her its all about our relationship and when she feels this is “good” or “OK” or “flowing” then sex is a natural by-product…

I suppose this is true…

Understanding, Acceptance & Trust…

These things are so foundational for men (I’m not sure if this applies to women as well)…

These are the things which we have from the Lord…

Understanding…

He knows all about us and knows why we do the things we do – He knows what sins of the forefathers are still upon us, He knows exactly where He’s at in His “Sanctification Process” in our lives and knows why we respond the way we do in certain situations or just can’t seem to overcome certain things and even why certain temptations which are so “hard” for others just don’t seem to “touch” us and vica versa…

Acceptance…

He accepts us Unconditionally in the Beloved…

We are Accepted in the Beloved…

Our new selves are who we are…

Our new selves are perfect…

They cannot sin…

We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. (1 John 5:18 NASB)

He does not view our old selves as us…

We are holy and perfect in His sight…

And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:10 NIV)

because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. (Hebrews 10:14 NIV)

We are not the objects of His Wrath or of His Hatred…

for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, (Ephesians 5:29 NASB)

Trust…

Love always trusts…

He trusts us because He knows the heart which He gave us – the new heart which He gave us – the new spirit which He gave us – is one with Him…

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. (1 Corinthians 6:17 NASB)

He trusts us because He knows we are pure…

He does not see our old selves as us…

Our old heart which is deceitful above all else is not what He sees…

and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. (Ephesians 4:24 NASB)

In this place we are so safe…

If we ever experience this Understanding, Acceptance & Trust of God in a relationship with a brother or sister in the Lord or even in our marriages where there is that additional physical intimacy which can be expressed in that pure marriage relationship then we are truly blessed…

I believe that this is the birthright of this generation…

I honestly do…

I believe that I will experience this in my marriage…

I believe that I will also experience this in my friendships with my brothers and sisters in the Lord…

The physical intimacy in the area of the sexual expression of the Understanding, Acceptance and Trust of the Lord between husband and wife is precious and sacred in the sight of God – that will be experienced by married Christian couples in this generation as the Lord has always intended…

The spiritual intimacy in the area of brother/sister and friendship relationships between brothers and sisters in the Lord will also be experienced in this generation – as the Lord cleans us up from the lusts of the flesh and we are enabled to offer this Understanding, Acceptance & Trust of the Lord to each other in the Lord we will find that we truly do love each other without any sexual overtones or urges or “out of control” “moments” and this I believe is what is spoken of by Jesus in John 17 for, I believe, this generation…

that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. (John 17:21 NASB)

This is what, I believe, we have instore for us in this generation…

The youth of today are much more open about their feelings – I believe the Lord will use this to create the unity He desires in those who are His – the “taboos” of our older generations – which have not been placed there by the Lord – will be removed in this generation…

Things will be spoken of which have not been spoken of in other generations – there will be an openness which has not been present in prior generations…

This is our birthright…

There will be openness and there will be healing…

There will be deliverance and in the Church we will see this Understanding, Acceptance & Trust of the Lord begin to spread among brothers and sisters until we experience “life from the dead” together in unity amongst the Church in terms of a mass “falling off” of the infirmities and “sin bondages” which have kept us in chains and bondage and only operating at a fraction of our God-given capacity to bring Glory to His Name in this generation…

O Lord, release the Anointing of Intimacy and Openness among all Your Children alive and breathing on planet earth at this point in time…

Break the bondages – break the false intimacy of sin – establish the True Intimacy of the Spirit amongst every brother and sister and friend in the Lord in every place all over the world…

You are God – You are Glorious – You are One – and You are making us One…

We submit to You Lord – make us One in this generation to speak with One Voice to Glorify Your Name in all the earth..

Make us One Lord – all over the earth make us One and let the world see the common call of Oneness and Intimacy with You and with each other where each becomes an extension of the other here on earth and we each become an extension of You upon the earth to Glorify Your Name in all the earth…

So let it be…

Thank You Jesus…

Understanding, Acceptance & Trust…

Establish this amongst us – Your Children – Your Precious Saints – Your Precious Offspring who You have covered with Your Very Own Blood – in all the earth…

Thank You Holy Spirit…

Thank You Lord (You are One, make us One in You)…

Thank You Jesus – Your Sacrifice is Complete – for all people for all time – O let us be among those who enter in to Your Rest and receive You as our Saviour and King – to You belongs Eternal Praise…

I bow down and worship You, King Jesus, in my heart right now – You are Worthy, Exalt the Name of Jesus Father, Lord Holy Spirit Exalt the Name of Jesus in all the earth…

He is Worthy, His Name is to be praised…

He is Exalted Above All Else…

Holy…

Let the Blood be Magnified throughout the entire earth…

The Blood of Jesus – the Blood of the Holy, Spotless Lamb of God, born of the virgin Mary, conceived in her womb by the Holy Spirit and God Incarnate, Always God, Never not God and now by the Grace of God always Man for all Eternity showing the position which we have in the Heart of God – those of us who believe – and our position and our acceptance for all eternity into the Heaven of God to be accepted before Him in the Blood of Jesus…

We worship You Lord…

You are Great…

And Highly Lifted Up…

Glorify Your Name in all the earth…

God is a God of Timing…

Psalm 33 tells us,

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation. (Psalm 33:11 NASB)

Wow, what an amazing God we serve…

The Counsel of the Lord stands forever…

Wow…

That is so awesome…

The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. (Psalm 138:8 NASB)

Wow…

All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16b NIV)

Wow…

Every single detail of my life – who I would talk to, who I would correspond with, who would “cross my path” – every single detail – every single “collision” with every other person who I will ever interact with was written in God’s Book before one of them came to be…

Hallelujah Lord…

You are so Sovereign…

As David says,

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. What knowledge is this?

What kind of knowledge does God have of us?

We are so in His Hands…

Whether we know it or not – we are so in His Hands…

He predestined us to know Him – He chose us in Him…

Chose us in Him that we might be first fruits of all that He created…

O Hallelujah!!!

Every single thing which happens to each and every one of us who know Him is calculated to bring us closer to Him and to His Glory…

For our joy – for our ultimate joy is to be made like Him – to know Him as He is…

He is the One who we want to know…

He is Above and Over All in our lives…

To Him belongs Eternal Praise…

No matter where we find ourselves, no matter what decisions we have made along the way to get us where we find ourselves – our God is a God of escapes from death – He will carry us until we reach glory – we will reach glory for He has promised to carry us all the way – in His Arms – in His Hands – He holds our hands – He will not let us go – He loves us for He delighted in us for His own Glory and Pleasure and in the exercise of His own will He chose us to be made like Him – conformed into the Image of the Likeness of His Son – our Saviour Jesus Christ – the Image of the Invisible God – Jesus Christ is God – God in Human Flesh…

We will not see God any clearer than in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ – He is the Supreme Example and even in His life we see the timing of God…

His time had not yet come…

We read that in the scriptures…

When the time had come Jesus set His Face to go to Jerusalem…

For the Lord GOD helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. (Isaiah 50:7 NASB)

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, (Luke 9:51 KJV)

He stedfastly set His Face to go to Jerusalem…

He was not going to be distracted…

He stedfastly set His Face…

When the time came for Him to be received up…

He knew what He had to do…

The Lord furnished Him with the understanding to complete what He needed to complete – He knew that He would suffer (maybe not to the degree which He would suffer but He knew that He was going to suffer and He resolutely set His Face to go through with it)…

This is the motivation of someone (in this case Someone) who knows God’s will for their lives and who knows the timing – when the timing is right, the Grace of God comes upon the one waiting for the timing and the power is there to complete the task which God has given us to complete…

Jesus completed it but not a moment too soon or a moment too late – He completed it completely on time…

When Christ is in control of our lives we will complete all that He has ordained for us completely on time…

There will be pleasure from the Lord from our lives because His Timing is Perfect…

Until we come to that place where we rest in Him in all things and trust His Timing in our lives we are striving…

We are living in a place which He does not want us to be living in…

He knows what we have to go through to get us to the place where we “cease striving and know that He is God” – He knows this and will allow whatever He needs to to accomplish this relinquishment of control in our lives, to just accept His Timing in all things…

If we push – we fail…

If we “go ahead” – we fail…

If we wait – we succeed…

Wait on His Timing…

No rush…

No panic…

No fear…

No hesitancy…

No indecision…

No double-mindedness…

Just waiting on His word – His Voice – His Instruction – at His Instruction all is clear – there is a peace – there is no jabbing pain of panic or “you must do this now or you’ll miss out” – there is no “threat” – just a peace and a deep motivation to complete His will as He shows it to you…

Almost a deep welling up of courageous emotion from deep within your soul and a sense of deep dedication to Him and to His will…

I have experienced this…

It carries you…

You continue…

You keep going…

You get battered about…

You keep going…

You don’t give up…

You endure because He is motivating you to endure and you know that it was His Timing – His will that you stepped out – not in presumption – but in the leading of the Holy Spirit to do the thing which He placed on your heart…

This is fulfilment…

This knowledge is fulfilment (not that its not painful and you don’t have periods of discouragement or worse along the way :-))…

Between you and the Lord…

Others may look on and think, “What on earth is he waiting around for?”, “Why isn’t he doing anything?”, “What is his life achieving?”, “He showed so much promise in his youth, why hasn’t he amounted to anything?” and other such questions, they may even be thinking, “Why is he taking so long to do the thing which I’ve told him he needs to do – I’m sure I heard that from the Lord for him?” but no matter what others think – even Mary said this to Jesus but His response was, “Woman, My time has not yet come” or “My hour has not yet come”…

There is a time for all things…

The scripture tells us this…

At the time when the Lord calls us to complete His will in any different area there is always a coming together of faith, motivation, lack of fear, peace, purpose and resolve to complete the task at hand…

If any of these ingredients are not in place then we should wait…

David waited until he heard the sound of marching in the balsam trees…

So should we…

Now the Philistines came up once again and spread themselves out in the valley of Rephaim. When David inquired of the LORD, He said, “You shall not go directly up; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. It shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall act promptly, for then the LORD will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.” Then David did so, just as the LORD had commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer. (2 Samuel 5:22-25 NASB)

The Lord was going before him…

As He will go before us when we wait for His Timing…

I do not believe our lives are about the choices we make (that might be controversial :-))…

After we give our lives to the Lord and He brings us to that place where we “cease striving and know that He is God” – for more “places” in our lives where He “inhabits” that knowledge and makes it reality – the more peace we experience…

And in that place we know that we don’t make any choices – we don’t take control and rise up and try and “do the right thing” (like Peter striking out at the servants ear in the Garden) – but we wait for Him to rise up within us – and – as we see in the scripture regarding David – go out before us…

Praise His Wonderful Name…

If He goes out before us – no matter where we are going – we will be victorious…

Victory for us may be to lose our lives – but it will still be victory on the inside (still be in peace with that sense of “rightness” to it – not in confusion – “He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stedfast because they trust in Him” as His word says)…

We will know the victory and know the protection right up to the very end…

Never step out of the peace…

If someone is putting pressure on you to do something but you yourself don’t have a peace, never step out of the peace you feel to do what someone else is telling/imploring/begging/pushing (whatever) you to do…

Stay in the peace cos if you leave the peace then they become God to you – you then have to listen to them for all your further instruction cos you’ve stopped listened to God…

This is not a good place to be in and one which we must not find ourselves in…

If we are in such a place – get out of it…

Don’t entertain it…

Don’t receive it…

Go with the peace which God has placed on your heart – that is better than anything else which anyone is telling you – you can live with that – live with the consequences of following the peace which the Lord has placed on your heart – but you can’t live with the consequences of following someone else’s “peace” or something they’re trying to “push” on to you…

Wait for God’s Time – in God’s Time everything you need for the task which He has placed before you will be provided for you – it will not be difficult – He will do everything for you…

You will walk in it and you will be blessed…

Hurt is an interesting topic…

I felt hurt yesterday…

It’s not a nice place to be…

You know you’ve been “kicked in the guts” (this is the way it feels to you whether this is “all in your mind” or very real really isn’t the point – this is what you experience “inside your own skin” so it’s real to you) and you can’t quite get that out…

It’s like you’re trapped in that place and although you’re still there in the conversation it’s like you feel yourself turning numb and hardening up and not really knowing what to say anymore…

Trust is a hard thing for me…

I’ve been betrayed a number of times…

I’m slow to trust…

When I trust and then am betrayed (or feel that I have been betrayed – again this may be in my mind or may be very real – again this is not really that relevant as it’s very real to you at the time) or have things “turned on me” I find that I go into “hurt”…

To be honest it happens to me fairly infrequently these days but it happened again yesterday (it surprised me really that it happened)…

I saw it happening, there was nothing I could do about it, I let it happen – the Lord was observing it all – and I let myself “express” the pain which I was feeling (to the Lord, partially to the other person involved) – again the Lord heard it all (in my conversation with Him after finishing my conversation with other person) – and then out of myself I started to find forgiveness coming…

A broken heart – how do we get a broken heart?

Someone said of Jesus that He died of a broken heart…

“My God, My God, Why have You forsaken Me?”

I guess He knew what it was to be close to Someone – His Father – and then when this was taken away from Him, He was broken up inside…

The difference with Jesus was that He didn’t have any hurt (He didn’t “give way” to hurt – He didn’t have it inside Him) – yes, He had pain but He didn’t have hurt, yes, He had grief – great grief – but He didn’t have hurt…

Hurt is where selfishness dwells…

I suppose that it was a good thing that that happened to me cos it showed me that there was still selfishness in me…

Then the Lord started to speak to me – this morning – about trust…

When someone hurts me there’s a point where I “die” inside and “shut them out”…

I saw myself starting to go through that mechanism yesterday to see the Lord “arresting” me and teaching me these lessons about forgiveness and now this morning about trust…

We are to treat every person on the planet as if they were doing exactly what the Lord would have them to be doing…

i.e. we are to treat them as if they belonged to the Lord and were in conformity with His will…

This is trust, “love always trusts”…

If someone tells us something we are to believe them…

We are not to doubt them, we are not to be suspicious – always looking for the lies, always looking for the falsehoods – but we are to believe them…

When they hurt us, i.e. when they betray us or don’t tell us the truth or hide or aren’t completely honest or are even downright dishonest (or even if they’re not but it appears to us as if they are, even if we misunderstand them to be any of these things) – we are to forgive them and then treat them again with trust as if that had never happened…

In doing this we remain in the “love always trusts” position and can be “happy” “positive” people who are not “bitter and twisted”, or “suspicious” or “have our walls up” or are “protecting ourselves from getting hurt” – we can commit to relationships and even if they completely “turn to custard” we can have “no hard feelings” (literally) or “no hurt feelings” after the Lord leads us through the place of hurt and into the place of forgiveness (there is no expectation in this place of “love always trusts” – just trust, which is given to us by the Lord – Thank You Jesus 🙂 )…

I understand what Jesus said where He said, “Seventy times seven”…

True forgiveness forgives and forgives and forgives – I don’t believe it is true to say “true forgiveness forgives until it doesn’t hurt” (yes it is true that for past things we get to that place where it doesn’t hurt but each new thing hurts where there is still an old self to be hurt)…

I believe it will always hurt – until we don’t have an old self left to be hurt – but the Grace of God is to lead us through the hurt to the place of forgiveness…

And in doing this we also see our fault – our part in the problem – and get this right with the Lord…

I like to be a happy person…

People do things to me most days which are not naturally “happy” things – either at work, or at home or in my interaction with others wherever I might be (like biking to work and nearly getting run over 🙂 ) – this brings out the “flesh” in me but I find the Lord – because I am under His Blood – coming in in those times and “turning the tables” on the hurt and evicting it like He did with the money changers…

Praise His Wonderful Name…

This is the reason why I love the Lord…

Because He takes me in my weakness – in my susceptibility to be hurt or to be deceived or to be enticed – and He lets me go through it – He lets me feel the pain of it – even the hurt of it and then He sets me free (I am also guilty of enticing others – in fact when I think about it all hurt really comes from a position of unmet expectations – wanting something from someone that they don’t end up delivering – even if they’ve “promised” to deliver it when they don’t hurt comes in – if there was no selfishness, no expectation, then there would be no hurt – even a broken promise – there should be no hurt there if there is no expectation – no one can be our life other than the Lord)…

I do not have to strive…

He is working in me…

He is working in each of His own…

We are precious to Him…

We don’t always understand what is going on – others may see us as the cause of the problem – and that might be true to them, i.e. they see things in us which we do not see in ourselves, but as we submit to the Lord to feel the hurt, to feel the pain and “go through” whatever it is that we are “going through” He comes through in the revelation of what He is wanting to teach us…

I am “thick” sometimes and the penny doesn’t “drop” for me on some things…

I am sorry to all who I have been “thick” towards (you know who you are and will probably be nodding at this point 🙂 )…

Not getting their “signals”…

Not understanding that they were not wanting to communicate with me…

I think sometimes I’m too literal a person…

I don’t see all the “signs” or the “subliminal messages”…

I’m getting that now…

I suppose I have to be more aware of where someone is really at and really give them a chance to express this before “launching in” and believing we have an understanding and can go “full steam ahead” in the direction in which I think we’re in agreement to go…

I can be “thick” sometimes…

Honouring others above ourselves is all about understanding where the other person is at…

What are they comfortable with…

Where they are at…

If they’re not comfortable with something we need to “back off”…

We cannot force ourselves or our beliefs or our convictions on other people…

This is wrong and this is not pleasing to the Lord…

He never forces His Beliefs or His Convictions on us…

He always makes us willing before sharing His Beliefs and His Convictions with us…

I love You Lord…

There is no expectation with God…

No expectation…

He makes us willing and then He gives us the instruction and the ability to follow it through…

Thank You Jesus…

There is no striving with God…

No striving with the Lord…

You are so Beautiful Jesus…

You are so Gracious Father…

You are so Gentle Holy Spirit…

You know what we need to hear at each instant and You do enough to ensure that we are ready at the time when it is time to hear Your Command…

Your commands are not burdensome because everyone who is born of God overcomes the world…

Thank You Jesus that at the right time – in the right place – we overcome the world…

Not when we are ready but when You are ready…

You overcome the world through us…

You overcome bitterness…

You overcome selfishness…

You overcome hurt…

You overcome resentment…

One step at a time…

And You give us Your Peace…

Your Protection and when we are getting hurt You let us feel it – we do not “fight it” – we let it happen and then watch You deliver us from the one greater than us – the one who used to “own” us – the one who You are going to destroy forever in the lake of fire and brimstone…

Our old selves are being destroyed…

This is a messy process but You have already won the victory – Praise Your Wonderful Name…

You are Worthy Lord Jesus – Thank You Father for Your deliverance of us – step by step – and process by process – situation by situation You are delivering us and You are preparing us to spend eternity with You – in Your Presence – in Your Place – the Place where there is no hurt and there is no pain – where there is no tears or no sadness – we look forward to a place where everything will be right – everything will be “understandable” – “upfront” and in a way which we can understand and not be mistaken in terms of what anyone is saying…

A Place like this makes me smile – A Place like this is where we are all going (those of us who know You – Praise Your Wonderful Name) – A Place like this is where You Dwell – wherever You are is a Place like this – Praise You Jesus whether we are with You in Heaven or when You return to earth whether we are with You as You Reign from Jerusalem or whether we are with You in the New Jerusalem at the end of all things – irrespective of the setting, we are with You and in Your Presence is fullness of joy and eternal pleasures at Your Right Hand…

Hallelujah Lord, You know us, You understand us, You care for us, You know us more intimately than we know ourselves, We owe our lives and our sanity to You and You are the One we love, Thank You Jesus – Thank You Father – Thank You Holy Spirit, Come Lord Jesus…

Pain, grief, hurt, dejection, discouragement, disillusionment, bitterness, resentment, apathy, shutdown…

This cycle can be broken by the application of the Blood of Jesus in our lives…

Pain, grief, forgiveness, trust, stepping out, loving, giving, expending ourselves for others…

This is eternal life – this is the opposite of shutdown…

This is what we want and this is Supernatural…

Thank You Jesus – work Your Supernatural Life in us in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Thank You Lord – and let us overcome all weaknesses of the flesh – let them be removed from us – and let us live in Your Provision – Your Overcoming Provision – in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen – So let it be Lord 🙂 Love You Lord, Amen and Amen

To God be the Glory Great Things He has done… 🙂

I was just blogging some thoughts down in a Skype conversation with a sister over in the UK, she wasn’t present at the time, I was just blogging down my thoughts but then this came out (in italics below – typo’s & spelling mistakes corrected 🙂 ) – I believe this was from the Lord:

“It is My plan to bless you and I will bless you”, declares the Lord…

“And I will achieve all that I have planned for this generation – this chosen generation”, declares the Lord – declares the Lord who has mercy upon you…

Praise You Jesus – to You belongs eternal praise for all that You will achieve in this generation in preparation for Your Return to reign from Jerusalem…

You will reign until all of Your enemies be made a footstool for Your feet…

I do not fully understand what this means but I know that it is true – you will reign until all your enemies be made a footstool for your feet…

For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. (1 Corinthians 15:25 NASB)

waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. (Hebrews 10:13 NASB)

I know Lord that You will fulfil Your Word – the scripture speaks of this time – waiting for Your enemies to be made a footstool for Your feet…

Starving all the gods of the earth…

The LORD will be terrifying to them, for He will starve all the gods of the earth; and all the coastlands of the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place. (Zephaniah 2:11 NASB)

O Hallelujah Lord that You will starve all the gods of the earth and that every one will bow down and worship You from their own “front door” – so to speak…

You are Awesome Lord and You are to be Reverenced in all the earth…

The Name of Jesus will be lifted up and as He is lifted up He will draw all men to Him…

All men will be drawn to You Lord Jesus in this chosen generation and You will be known as You have never been known before…

Never been known before…

Hallelujah!!!

Worship You Jesus…

You deserve all our worship…

You deserve all our praise…

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God the Almighty the whole earth is filled with His Glory…

Pain is a part of life…

There would have been no pain if there had have been no sin…

There is pain because there is sin…

Because of the pain we go through we come to know the Lord more intimately…

I am talking about those of us who know the Lord…

We know the Lord and we go through pain…

Jesus went through pain when He was on earth…

He felt the pain which others were going through and He went through it with them…

Jesus wept…

The shortest statement in the Bible…

Jesus wept…

We are called to weep…

We are called to rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn…

We are called to carry one another’s burdens and so fulfil the Law of Christ…

Telling us that the Law of Christ – the way Christ lived – was to carry one another’s burdens…

And He did…

Right until death…

Right through the Eternal Hell He endured during the three hours of darkness where the Wrath of God fell on Him and He stood in the gap for our sin…

We owe Him our lives…

He laid down His…

He went through the pain…

The closer we get to Him the more pain we endure…

The more pain we carry…

The more burdens we carry…

Not that we are carrying them but He is carrying them through us…

But it still hurts…

The Christian Life is a paradox…

More pain yet more peace…

More pain yet more fulfilment…

More pain yet more comfort…

More pain yet deeper knowledge of Christ…

I want to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death…

This is the path…

This is what it means to be raised up in Christ…

It means to go down into death…

Deeper and deeper death…

There is no elevation without going down…

Further and further and further down…

This is what we are called to…

When we gave our hearts to the Lord did we know that this is what it would mean?

Probably not…

The good thing is that the Lord saved us and let us know exactly as much as we needed to know each and every step of the way…

He has been carrying us and as the responsibilites increase His Grace also increases…

I can see now how the Rich Young Ruler looked at Jesus and thought “the cost is too great”…

I can see now how many of His disciples (those who were following Him) decided that it was “too hard” and ceased following Him…

Only those who He has chosen will continue following Him – all the others who are “interested only” will fall back and cease to follow Him when they see that this is what the Christian Life promises…

Greater and greater and greater amounts of pain…

Greater and greater and greater amounts of rejection…

Greater and greater and greater amounts of misunderstanding…

Greater and greater and greater amounts of abandonment…

Greater and greater and greater amounts of “hiddenness” and “nothingness” – losing yourself – losing your life that you might be found in Him not having a righteousness of your own but that which comes from faith in Christ – this is what we are called to…

He must increase, I must decrease…

The Lord called me into the desert in around October 2004 to discover what true faith is…

He gave me a parable through a Maori brother who came and shared with Nancy and I…

I knew what the Lord was saying as brother Ken was sharing…

I resigned from my position as a worship leader at my church and left the church (resigned my church membership)…

I stopped doing anything which was “christian”…

I let go of every effort to please God…

My act of obedience was to leave it all behind and let Him make me whatever it was that He wanted to make me without any interference or effort from me…

I look back nearly eight years on and I am glad for what He shared with my heart through brother Ken…

The betrothed in the picture was called out into the desert to follow her Prince, she kept following Him even though He rode on a horse and she had to walk…

She stumbled many times but kept going even though all she could see of Him was a silouthette on the far sand dune…

Her feet were burnt during the day…

She kept going…

Finally as sunset occurred she stumbled and died…

I remember that part of the picture very clearly…

The Prince turned (as if He was waiting for this to occur) and came back and picked up her dead body and put it on His horse and rode off…

This was the parable and the Lord spoke to my heart that I had to leave all I’d ever known in Christianity – all the hype, all the Presence of God, all the striving, all the meetings, all the striving and I had to go out alone into the desert and find Him – find out what true faith was…

As I led worship the next morning in church it was as if scales were lifted from my eyes and I saw what was going on…

I saw that it was not the Revival that I was seeking…

And as the service concluded I knew that I would leave…

As I sat in the car with Ken as we got our fish’n’chips after the service I told him that I’d decided to leave the church – organised religion I suppose – and head out into the desert to find true faith – as I shared this the Presence of God filled the car like I’d never experienced before and Ken put his arm around me and said, “The Father is here”…

That was my commission – to head out into the wilderness…

I am still here although recently I have gone back to a prophetic intercessor’s group which I used to attend…

I will keep going as the Lord leads me…

But the wilderness – the place of losing all position in the eyes of men – being misunderstood – being judged – being condemned – being looked down on – being abused – etc, etc, etc – is a permanent place for those who seek true faith…

It isn’t over…

There is still more…

I am reminded of a picture which Rick Joyner shared in one of his earlier books where he saw a tunnel – a dark tunnel – and it was “creepy” or “scary” or just “not appealing” but it was this tunnel which he had to go down to find the path of true humility (or words to that effect)…

This is where I find myself…

I am approaching this tunnel and find myself already in it…

There aren’t a lot of people in this tunnel…

It is very lonely…

It is a little bit creepy…

The echos make you wonder whether you’re losing your mind…

In this place of darkness, for this is what it is…

All you have is your knowledge that God Loves you – because He said He does and He is not able to lie…

He will never change His Mind that all things work together for good to those who love God – so as the tunnel narrows and darkens and you stumble along on your hands and knees – crawling and being grazed and gashed by the rocks you endure because You know that He who called you here is Faithful…

Even though the tunnel narrows and you are scared of being crushed in a rock fall or earthquake or just the sheer claustrophobia of it – you endure – you continue…

This is what God has called us to…

The Cloak of Humility – The Cloak of Nothingness – is what He has called us to…

Lifting others up…

Not seeking the limelight…

Going where no one else will go…

Doing what no one else will do…

Following Him wherever He might lead…

Not waiting for anyone to go with you…

Just going…

Just doing…

Not seeking to be understood…

Not seeking to be rewarded…

Not seeking to be elevated…

Wanting the exact opposite…

To go lower…

To go lower…

To go lower…

This is where I find myself…

This is the desire which the Lord has placed on my heart…

O my dear fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord…

Does your heart burn with this desire?

Does it burn with this desire?

Has the Lord placed this desire on your heart?

In this place where earthly joy and earthy support is banished are you content to find all your joy and completeness in Him?

He is here in this place…

He is near to the brokenhearted…

To those who are crushed in spirit…

To those who let go of the control over their own lives…

Who die daily to the control which would cause them to perform or put on a face or a facade or an image – to those who are ready for the Lord to unmask them and show them what lies within them and then to walk through with the Lord the process for this to be unmasked and removed…

He is near the brokenhearted, to the crushed in spirit – to the poor in spirit…

There is a Kingdom for them…

but it is not of this world…

It is the Kingdom within their hearts…

It is the place within them where the Rule of God Reigns…

Where Jesus is seated in their hearts…

Where there is peace within…

Where there is the absence of fear within them…

The Presence of Faith…

Paul was chained but he was not chained…

The Word of God was not chained through Paul…

He went down – he got what he asked for…

But now there is stored up for me a crown of righteousness…

This is what he said…

His reward was stored up for him…

This life is not our life…

Our life is hidden with Christ in God…

We are to receive a Saviour from Heaven – Jesus Christ the Righteous…

This is our life…

This is our Reward…

Jesus Christ Himself…

We know Him in this life – we know Him for eternity…

There is nothing else in this life but Him…

Nothing…

All the things we go through are nothing without Him…

There is no love in this world without Him…

He is all we have…

The crushing reveals Him…

The crushing is our friend…

Faithful are the wounds of a friend…

He crushes us so that we might be a blessing and so that our flesh can be destroyed…

And that our new man might live…

Praise His Wonderful Name…

I am in pain but I am blessed…

I am not seeking for my pain to be removed…

I am seeking to know Him in it…

For the rest of my life…

Praise His Wonderful Name…

The lower I go the more I know Him…

He meets me here…

In the lowest place…

I kind of feel I’ve come to a place of transition in my life…

I’ve seen things broken in me which have been major hurdles to me “moving forward” in what the Lord has for me…

I see confession and honest sharing to be vital in any relationship – any relationship which will go on in the Lord…

The confession and honest sharing need to be two-way for this to be affective…

i.e. the ones you’re being honest with need to be in that honest place before the Lord also – maybe not with you but definitely with someone and definitely with the Lord Himself (maybe there are some who don’t need to be in an honest place of sharing with anyone but not because they’re not willing to but because the Lord hasn’t provided anyone that they can be honest with at this point in time or in this season of their lives)…

When we share our hearts and let out what is within us in terms of the things which the Lord is “pinpointing” at the time we need to know that those who we are trusting to “hear us” are also going through the same process and are not somehow “armchair critics” or “locked up” somehow in a place from which they cannot “release” the Lord’s word (flowing out from) within them to meet the need of the situation in our lives as we work out James 5:16 in our lives…

I feel that this nation – New Zealand – needs to go through this process “en masse”…

Yesterday as I started to type on a “three of us” conversation (it’s just a place where we can share what is on our hearts) on Skype with two other brothers the below “came out of me” (I’ve corrected some typo’s in the reproduction below):

May the Blood of Jesus cover our conversations Lord…
Let us lift up the Name of Jesus…
We are close to a breakthrough in this nation…
I feel this…
We have all been going through a season of stripping…
I believe the Church in this nation – those who know the Lord…
And we are coming through to a time where the Lord will lift us up…
Not in arrogance or pride…
But in humility before Him and before His throne…
To pray the things which are on His Heart…
He prays continually for us…
He is the reason why we do not fall…
Without Him and His daily – moment by moment actually – intercession for us – we would certainly fall…
He is interested in us – in us knowing Him…
He does not see our sin – He sees what He has made us – and yet He sees what needs to be established in us to replace the patterns of sin which we’ve walked in – for many generations…
We are at the brink of a breakthrough in this nation and we are all integral to this breakthrough…
Everything which all of us have gone through will be meshed together for His glory – all the tears we’ve shed – all the hardships we’ve gone through – it’s all coming together for the glory of His Kingdom…
When He looks down from heaven – He doesn’t see church buildings – He sees the Church – the individuals who make up the Church – and He sees us as One…
He sees us in our unity in what He’s created in us…
He doesn’t see the flesh…
When He looks at the Unity He is wellpleased…
It is enough…
It doesn’t look good in the natural…
In it’s “organisation”…
but the individuals who make up the Church He sees as one and He sees that there is sufficient desire in us for Him to come and bring blessing to our nation…
Blessing to His Church – which is first and foremostly to bring us into unity – practical, positional, unity with each other…
I see this – to bring local expressions of this unity…
To turn our hearts towards each other…
Like the Spirit of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children…
I see this…
This will be the first sign of revival…
That we will see New Testament gatherings of believers beginning to occur in this nation…
As these gatherings occur we will begin to see corporate expression of repentance in these New Testament gatherings…
All over New Zealand…
and as this occurs and the humility is seen – not that the Christians have “got it together” anymore and are “looking down their noses” at us – but that the Christians are in humility confessing their sins to each other and getting healing – it will then be that the world will believe that Jesus was sent by the Father…
I see this – this is the process – and there’s enough desire in the hearts of the Saints in this nation for this to occur…
I see this…
There is…
It will be messy but it will be brought about by the Holy Spirit…
The inquities of the fathers will be broken…
and there will be freedom…
Freedom which will spread throughout this nation…
I see this…
Freedom which will spread throughout this nation…

He will do this…
There is nothing we can do to resist Him…
He will do this…
When He comes we will bow…
We will bow before Him…
No one will raise their head in His Presence…
He will come and we will be prostrate before Him…

No pride in His Presence…
No position in His Presence…
No prestige in His Presence…
We will be undone and will know that we are…
I see the repentance like a flood, like a flowing body of water spreading out around this nation…
He will come and we will repent before Him…
He is gathering us to Himself…
He is gathering us to Himself…
We need each other and only as we all operate together will He bring that which He has promised…
For this nation…
Life Forevermore…
In this context is the salvation which He offers us…
The salvation of our souls, of our spirits…
The forgiveness of sins…
The freedom to serve Him without fear…
All the days of our lives…
Without fear because we are free from the besetting sins of our forefathers…
Honesty…
Healing…
Deep rooted roots broken…
Deep rooted issues resolved…
Hidden things exposed…
Hidden things of darkness broken…
He is coming and He is going right to the root…
He will take no other answer…
There is no other answer…
He will go to the root and He will break it and He will bring deliverance…
to this nation – to those who come before Him in humility in this nation – He will bring deliverance and He will bring the humility also…
There will be deliverance in this nation and all the nations of the world will know that God has done something in the nation of New Zealand to bring back a remnant to His Name…
They will know and those who hunger for this in their nations will be drawn here to find out more…
and they will find Him – they will find Him here…
In the Spirit of Repentance which He gives…
The deep humility and emptiness of self which He gives…
That is what they will find…
And they will bow before Him for He is the Lord who inhabits heaven and earth…
In this generation…
“I will do this, in this generation”, declares the Lord

I see this occuring all over this nation at this point in time – the beginnings of it occuring all over our nation at this point in time…

This is where we need to be…

This goes with another word which the Lord gave me recently about our confession…

Our confession – of what we still are in our old selves – no excuses just calling a spade a spade – is what the Lord is looking for from us to break the iniquities of the fathers as if no one repents for these things and shares them and looks stupid sharing them and loses face sharing them then there will not be deliverance from these things and true revival can not come…

If the leadership of the Church – and by leadership I mean those who the Lord has appointed to lead (no one else may know this but these ones and the Lord but it will fairly quickly become apparent who these ones are as the Lord brings others around them who have this vision and they serve together in humility before the Lord) – will not walk in this path then there is no point for them…

That is the call which the Lord has on their lives – to go lower…

To look stupid…

To confess their sins…

Anything which is within them which is not pleasing to the Lord…

Not making excuses – no saying, “Oh, that’s just part of my flesh and I can never expect to get deliverance from that – I’ll always have these desires ‘racing through my mind’ as long as I don’t act on them I’ll be OK”…

“If I was honest about that no one would support my ministry”…

Or, “If I was to walk in this way no one would respect me anymore”…

If the leadership of the Church in this nation walk humbly before their God and admit, confess and be upfront about their sin, about their failings and about the areas where they really don’t have the victory – areas like pornography, sexual temptations, homosexual temptation, lying, cheating, stealing, fault-finding, superiority complexes, lording it over others, child abuse, paedophilia, running others to the ground, judgements – unrighteous judgements, slander, critical spirits, lack of heavenly mindedness, lack of interest in spiritual things which concern the Lord and His Glory, pride, arrogance, “smuggness”, a condescending spirit towards those outside and those inside who are “beneath them” (cover me with Your Blood Lord and give me the humility which You speak of), etc, etc, etc – then this will break this sin in them and then in the Church and then in this nation…

This is the pattern…

Sin is broken in us first and then in all the Saints around us and then in our nation – as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself…

He is calling us – those of us who He has appointed for leadership in this nation – to go lower…

It’s not about our ancestors – although they sinned too – but it’s about us confessing our sin and our transgressions and our iniquity – our besetting sin – sin which we just can’t “break” to each other – in an atmosphere of trust – and then seeing the Lord “come through” in deliverance as He honours His word in James 5:16 and also honours His word where He says, “humble yourselves before the Lord and He will lift you up” and where He says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble”…

This is where He is calling us…

(If it’s a sin being committed in the world then it’s a sin being committed in the Church and by the leadership of the Church otherwise it would be broken)…

This is the path to deliverance…

It means that we lose our reputations…

It means that we are honest about our struggles – not to those who will condemn us – the Lord gives us wisdom in this – not in a way of “forced sharing” to a “leadership” who has not had the freedom to be freed and released themselves but before those who we – in our own free will (freed by the Holy Spirit – or at least that part of it 🙂 ) “witness” have the humility to be able to handle our honesty and know that we are a new creation who is confessing/owning the remains of our old selves in a desire to be free of it and serve the Lord effectively – without fear – without fear of being overrun by sin – which we do not want – for the rest of our lives (and even if they don’t understand us and castigate us as one who does not know the Lord at all – we will “dust ourselves off” and try again 🙂 – but I’m looking for an icon which has tears cos that’s the way it feels 😦 )…

Hallelujah Lord!!! This is what I see…

I see a number “laying down all” to die in this way and be an example – at the foot of the cross – to those coming behind that the path of the cross is a path of death – laying down our “respectibility” our “acceptance” in “high places” in the “christian world” and a desire to be nothing, to be misunderstood, to be maligned, to be criticised – to be viciously attacked by the devil and his demons through others who know the Lord but do not understand and do not know what lies within them (for the Lord has yet to open their eyes) and in this place of laying down as a sacrifice, through that sacrifice we will be purged and cleansed and come to a place where our sacrifice is accepted by the Lord and others begin to come in to freedom and we are restored in our hearts to purity before the Lord…

Then groups will form where this is the “modus operandi” and these groups will become New Testament churches…

And these churches will be real…

They will be free…

They will be free of pretension…

Pretensiousnes…

They will be free of judgement towards those who have a pure heart and want to be delivered from their sin…

They will not be afraid to speak about any topic to anyone…

Nothing will be taboo or “Oh no, you can’t talk about that”…

Whatever needs to be talked about will be talked about and there will be ones who have been delivered from every sin known to man…

The Lord will ensure this so that the delivernace will be complete in every Church in this generation…

I see this…

This nation will be filled with the Presence of God and the Holy Awe of God will fill this nation and every Church in it…

Praise You Jesus…

There will be freedom in the Church and acceptance of all our brothers and sisters in Christ – all of our brothers and sisters in Christ will be recognised in their willingness to drop their guards and be “stripped bare” in the Eyes of Him with whom they have to do – not holding on to any of the secrets of their hearts – no matter what the consequences – but coming out into the light before the Presence of Almighty God who stands before them – and He will cos He will be with us when we meet in His Name and in His Purpose to honour Him and be real with ourselves…

We will put off sin which has bound us and we will be free from the “class mentality” which exists presently in the church – the “laity versus the clergy” – this will be smashed in this generation…

It will exist no longer in this generation…

I’m just writing what I’m seeing…

Thank You Jesus…

You are Worthy Lord…

Do what You have to do in each one of us to make this a reality in this generation – continue Your work – in the midst of the years – go deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper until everything which You have planned for this generation is established in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Thank You Lord, Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord Holy Spirit, You are Worthy, You are Worthy, You are Worthy…

We give You all the Glory for what You are about to perform in this nation and beyond in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

Lift up the Blood of Jesus in this nation…

Because we are under the Blood we are not condemned…

All of us who Know You – by Your Choosing and by Your Initiation…

Thank You Jesus that You never fail in any intercession which You commit Yourself to and You will not fail in this one – Thank You Jesus – You will fulfil the will of the Father in this nation and in all the nations of the world in this generation…

Far out this is beyond me (You know my heart Lord – I am incapable of any of these things which You are sharing through me – Thank You Lord that You will perform all this through me and through those who You have chosen in this generation)…

Take over Lord and do Your will in this generation and in this world…

You are Lord and You are Worthy to Reign…

We are incapable – I am incapable of doing anything which You have outlined above…

I give myself to You…

Glorify Your Name in all the earth…

Cover us with Your Blood…

We are Accepted in the Beloved – in this place let us humble ourselves and “perfect holiness in the fear – the reverence – the grateful, heartfelt reverence – of God”…

Give us this humility Lord – we don’t have it – I don’t have it – and let us walk into all that You have planned for us…

I really felt to add this post (this afternoon now) after waking up with this on my heart and seeing things which I’d never before seen regarding this area…

I was praying for someone – someone very close to me in my family – and I was seeing that I wanted to be so close to this person in the sense of this person really knowing the Lord as I know the Lord and to be able to have fellowship with this person as the Lord would have me to have fellowship with this person and then I started seeing all these little tube like things in the spirit (the spiritual realm) carrying black substances between this person and myself – kind of like a whole lot of intravenous tubes but larger diameter (perhaps 20mm diameter) and then the picture changed and I saw the red (the Blood of Jesus) flowing from my tubes and clashing with the black from this persons tubes (the tubes were connected to both myself and this person) and then I saw the red touch the black and the black dissolved – there was a flash, like a bright flash (not that big) and the tubes were gone there was no connection between myself and this person any more…

As I watched this I just knew that this was a “soul tie” – I had an “inner knowing”…

Then I started to pray for another other person outside my family regarding the same issue – “soul ties”…

He showed me that He didn’t want me to have any “soul tie” with any other person – except for Him…

I saw myself “free” in the spirit (the spiritual realm) to relate to anyone without a “need” for them to “be anything” or “give anything” to me but me being free (in what I saw in the spirit) to impart to them (I see this as future, when the Lord has established this in me) whatever the Lord placed on my heart to impart to them “spirit to spirit” – not in the area of the soul or in the area of a “soul connection” – but in the area of the spirit – my spirit to their spirit (really the Holy Spirit in me to their spirit to be precise 🙂 as I don’t have anything useful to offer them 🙂 )…

This scripture came to mind as I was contemplating these things,

My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. (Psalm 63:8 NASB)

I also thought of the relationship which David had with Jonathan,

Now it came about when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself. (1 Samuel 18:1 NASB)

thinking before the Lord whether there were any “good” kind of “soul ties” but I felt He showed me that there wasn’t – as I write now I feel that what happened between David and Jonathan – the “knitting together” of their souls – was obviously of the Lord but there was nothing “needy” about it – I feel that it was created between the “new self” of Jonathan and the “new self” of David by the Lord (others may have other insights on this – I don’t sense that I’m seeing this “completely” at this point in time) – I believe the “knitting together” of two souls which is created by the Lord is completely different to the “soul ties” which are created in the flesh and influenced by the devil and his demons…

We read in scripture regarding Lot,

for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by their lawless deeds), (2 Peter 2:8 NASB)

this indicates that Lot had a righteous soul – and I believe that the “righteous soul” (the “new self”) is capable of being “knit together” with another “righteous soul” as brought about by the Lord – as per what happened with David and Jonathan…

But we are not to have any “unrighteous” “soul tie” (as I said I don’t know if it’s possible to have a “righteous” one – I think the “knitting together” is different than “soul ties”) – we, as Children of the Living God, are not to have any “unrighteous” “soul tie” (in fact I am convinced that we are not to have any form of “soul tie” with anyone) with anyone else – whether they be believers in the Lord or whether they are not – in fact I believe that we are not to have any “soul ties” full stop with anyone (yes, that’s the way I see it)…

We all, who have been born again by the Spirit of God, have a “righteous soul” but we also have an “unrighteous soul” which although being dead positionally in the sight of God is not dead practically until the Holy Spirit releases truth into our hearts in the specific areas required to “kill it” practically (that’s the way I’m seeing it)…

We are not to have “soul ties” with other believers’ “remains” of their “flesh” (Amen, I am agreeing with myself 🙂 )…

I saw in my picture the Blood of Jesus filling my “tubes” and impacting and destroying the black substance coming from the other person’s tubes and destroying the “soul tie” (as illustrated by the tubes connecting me to this other person) between us…

I was to be free (I see this as future – the Lord releasing faith to me to believe it 🙂 – Thank You Lord for the freedom, I thank You in advance 🙂 ) to relate to everyone from that place of “no needs”, no ties, no connection and it felt free – what I saw – that in that place I could go anywhere, do anything that the Lord led me to do and minister love to each one that He brought across my path (through the Holy Spirit within me) in the way that He showed me (O bring me there Lord – to that place where this is a reality 🙂 – Yes Lord – Praise Your Name Lord 🙂 )…

I prayed for everyone, everywhere to be released from “soul ties” (completely released Lord, completely released and gone in the Name of Jesus Christ within us in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Thank You Lord, Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Holy Spirit)…

I believe that the Lord created the “knitting together” of Jonathan and David’s souls for His own Glory – it was pure, there was no guilt, there was no “guilty conscience” – it was “of the Lord” – this is the kind of “knitting together” which I want to experience 🙂 with those who know the Lord…

The closest I’ve got is where I have people “on my heart” where I just “feel for them” and know that the Lord is also “feeling for them” and this “comes and goes” with me (they are not “on my heart” all the time), it doesn’t “last” (it doesn’t seem to be permanent) like what the Lord did with Jonathan and David (which I view to be permanent) – I have got one person on my heart most of the time but I’m not sure if this is completely “of the Lord” or whether this is linked to this area of “soul ties” (show me Lord and set me free)…

How have the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan is slain on your high places. I am distressed for you, my brother Jonathan; You have been very pleasant to me. Your love to me was more wonderful Than the love of women. (2 Samuel 1:25-26 NASB)

I know that the Lord will give me friendships in Him like that of David and Jonathan where they are pure and holy and really leave an “imprint” upon my soul and yet I sense that there will be no “soul tie” in this – nothing that holds me back, nothing that imparts “blackness” to my soul – nothing that hinders me in my relationship with the Lord or makes me feel “dirty” or “unclean” – it will be “free” and it will be “clean” – nothing unholy in it – nothing of the “flesh” and nothing selfish or self-seeking involved – like nothing which we have ever known before (Praise You Jesus) – I don’t have this at this point in time (give this to me Lord in Your time, Thank You Lord that You will – in Your time, Thank You Lord)…

You Lord are clean, You are not dirty – You are White, Bright White, Blazingly Clean, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Thank You Lord…

Release us all from “soul ties” Lord – if You have those ones in the world to whom we are going to be “knit together” in our souls, our new souls, then Praise Your Name – like Jonathan and David were “knit together” by You, let us be “knit together” with them…

If there are “soul ties” – like what was experienced by Shechem for the daughter of Jacob, Dinar – please do not allow these “soul ties” to remain in us – remove them all from us – from all who know Your Name – remove them all from us – remove them from me Lord wherever they remain (You know Lord)…

He was deeply attracted to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke tenderly to her. (Genesis 34:3 NASB)

But Hamor spoke with them, saying, “The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter; please give her to him in marriage. (Genesis 34:8 NASB)

We do not want to have these “soul ties” – even in our marriages Lord – we do not want to have these “soul ties” – they are “destructive”…

We want to be free to obey You – we do not want to have “soul ties” – destructive “soul ties” (for this is what they are) with anyone…

I do not want to have these “soul ties” – destructive “soul ties” – with anyone – release me Lord (Thank You Jesus, set me free completely)…

When we are “free” we are objective – we are able to see “the woods for the trees” and we are not able to be deceived…

That’s what I believe the Lord has shown me…

If there are others in our lives to which we have these destructive (“black”, “old self”) “soul ties” – remove them from us Lord with Your Blood…

Remove them from us altogether…

If that means removing that person from us – remove them Lord…

If it doesn’t – don’t remove them Lord…

Whatever it means – remove them – the “soul ties” – from us Lord – let us walk “clear” in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

Remove these “soul ties” from us – all of them Lord – destructive they are, evil they are, demonic they are, demonic channels – not of You, not pleasing to You – evil and to be renounced and destroyed with Your Blood flowing through us – destroy them Lord – do away with them – end them – end them all (let us warfare in the Spirit – let us warfare in tongues for the destruction of these destructive “soul ties” from us – complete deliverance – in the Mighty Name of Jesus to the Church of the Living God on this earth at this point in time – then we will be free – then we will be able to move – then we will be able to complete the work which He has for us – Praise You Jesus, Thank You Lord, Thank You Father, Hallelujah Lord)…

I am seeing someone as I type – remove all the “soul ties” from this person Lord and set them free…

Thank You Jesus – open the eyes of this person who I “see” right now – who is on my heart – and remove every “soul tie” from them…

Holy Jesus…

Thank You Lord…

And from that person Lord who You’ve just brought to my attention – remove them Lord…

I see them – the “soul ties” – remove them from this person Lord – from the mother in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Hallelujah!!!

Thank You Lord – the Blood of Jesus is Powerful…

Thank You Lord…

We need to be free…

Set us all free Father from every single destructive “soul tie” in the Mighty Name of Jesus – and make the Jonathan/David connections which You have planned for each one of us in Your Kingdom in Your Own Timing and in Your Own Way (I am smiling again on the inside) – Praise You Jesus, Hallelujah!!!

O this is Powerful, God’s Way is Powerful…

Establish these connections Lord and let Your Body be knit together in Love…

As You have always wanted It (Your Body) to be, knit together in Love in the Spirit (Unity)…

Praise You Jesus – in perfection and in holiness laying our lives down for each other as You have intended – building up the fabric of society – with the Presence of God through our lives – building communities of believers who have been knit together in love to show the world the Love of God – I see it – I see it now – the “soul ties” removed to the “old self” (the “black” ones) and the true “knitting together” of our “new selves” (the souls transformed by the Presence of the Holy Spirit within us – and only in the areas where this transformation has taken place) established by the Power of the Holy Spirit within us to the Praise of His Glorious Grace in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

Thank You Jesus, Thank You Father, Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord Holy Spirit, To You be the Glory forever and ever, Amen…

There is more to pray here Lord, this is the area where we, Your People, need to be delivered, these are the “deep areas”, the “hidden areas”, where the “deep things”, the “deep desires”, reside – which are not challenged except in times of exceptional stress or exceptional testing – where you make us unable to “hide them” or “sweep them away” anymore…

I am undone Lord – You Know exactly what I’m talking about – I am undone Lord but I am about to be delivered…

I feel it…

Praise God and I know that once I’m delivered I will be able to deliver – the Holy Spirit within me – many, many people – Praise You Jesus – I wait for Your Deliverance – I am feeling it – Praise You Father, Praise You Jesus, Praise You Holy Spirit – I am feeling it…

Thank You for the sacrifice of all who have prayed for me – I sense it like a cumulative package which is exploding/being poured out over my head – Praise You Jesus – the Anointing of God is falling on me – the Anointing of God for Deliverance…

Give this anointing Lord to all who are at this place – this place of wanting You to make an end of them and to live the rest of their lives for Your Glory – give them this anointing Lord – let it fall on them as they read this and let them be filled with Your Glory – whoever desires this Lord – let them be filled with Your Glory – whosoever will may come, Come and receive deliverance from the Hand of God – Come and receive Deliverance from the Hand of Almighty God – in the Mighty Name of Jesus – He is there for you – I know He is…

Come and you will receive deliverance from all “soul ties” which have hindered your life…

Repent, He will deliver you – you do not need them – they are nothing to you – you need only Him – that is what I am seeing – His Fire is Enough…

That is what I am seeing – Praise You Jesus – Fall Lord, Let Your Anointing Fall – break the ties which bind us to the earth and set us free into the nature of Heaven – the nature which You give us as You Live through us – the nature of Heaven – which Knows You and Knows our brothers and sisters in the Spirit, in the Spirit and not in the flesh – a plain where we have not known – we have not experienced – a plain where nothing else matters – where You Alone matter and our brothers and sisters welfare in the Spirit matters – nothing else – nothing else – nothing else – no selfishness dwells there – it is pure – I am feeling it, seeing it in the spirit (the spiritual realm) as I type – Praise You Jesus – take me to this realm and let me live in it for the rest of my life – I am happy there Lord, I am feeling “safe” there – let me live there for the rest of my life – it is a place of freedom – I feel it – Praise You Jesus – let me live there for the rest of my life (I can’t believe that I can live there for the rest of my life – it is just too good to be true – give me faith Lord to know that I can that You love me so much that You will let me live there for the rest of my life – let all live there Lord, all who know You – may all know You in this generation – all who remain on earth after Your Judgements in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Thank You Lord – let them all remain in that place that I feel right now in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Thank You Father – remove from me anything which anyone thinks of me – wanting acceptance, wanting approval, wanting “belonging”, wanting recognition, wanting success, wanting approval, wanting praise, wanting glory, wanting recognition – set me free Lord – and let me live for Your Glory and to make You Known and to bless and lift up all others who You place in my path in the Mighty Name of Jesus – remove need from us Lord – let us Know You – there is no need in You – Thank You Jesus, Thank You Father, Thank You Holy Spirit, Bless You Lord, Love You (Thank You for everything which You have done for me, Love You Lord, Andrew)

I woke up this morning with this phrase or this prayer on my heart…

The Spirit of Repentance…

I found myself crying out to the Lord to grant me the Spirit of Repentance and the Spirit of Intercession so that I could repent, truly repent from my heart, from the things in me which the Lord was showing me that I needed to be repenting from – the things in me that were not pleasing to Him that He was bringing to my attention…

I want to be clean – and I know that only He can do this…

I cannot help Him – He must do this…

Fill me Lord with the Spirit of Repentance so that I can truly repent and deeply Know You in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

I’ve just returned from Jonathan’s rugby and went to search for this phrase in scripture…

I came across the following scripture which has deeply impacted me…

For seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach!” In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. I’ve been thinking about repentance for quite some time and realising that I didn’t have it completely in any particular area…

The Lord leads us to surrender but what I’m seeing is that every surrender He leads us to only exposes to us a deeper surrender again which He needs to lead us to…

The “peeling the onion” “metaphor” or “layers of the onion” metaphor/expression is becoming more and more real to me…

I saw the other day for the first time as I was riding in to work that the Lord brought to me what it meant that everything truly is “all my fault”…

The mess that this world is in truly is “all my fault”…

I am – and stand alone – before the Lord as the one to blame for all the problems and troubles in the world today…

I am “the man”…

Nathan then said to David, “You are the man! (2 Samuel 12:7a NASB)

I see it very clearly…

I had nowhere else to “run”, no one else to blame…

I am oppressed by demonic spirits because I chose to rebel against God in the Garden of Eden…

In the Eyes of God I am Adam…

That is how He sees me in being responsible for the sins of the whole world…

I am the chief of sinners…

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Timothy 1:15 KJV)

That is how He sees me…

I have no excuse before Him, I still have no excuse even though I know that I was born “dead” in sin, I have no excuse – I stood before Him once (in Adam) free and able to choose and I chose to reject Him without a cause and to hate Him without a cause…

But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘THEY HATED ME WITHOUT A CAUSE.’ (John 15:25 NASB)

I am guilty and I deserve every bit of Divine Retributive Justice which God chooses to “dish out” to me…

I say all this to show us – even those of us who have been cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb – that we have a place, we have a responsibility and when the Lord says, “If My People”, He really does mean us – He really does mean that we are responsible and that even though we are forgiven in that He gave us that “one off” gift of repentance so that we could repent and receive Eternal Life – there is more repentance which He needs to give us day after day after day, year after year after year to take us deeper and deeper and deeper towards the root of the problem that we have been delivered from until we can repent for the sin of the world as our own – because it is…

It is our own…

Each one of us stand as either Adam or Eve before God – not a single one of us is not culpable before God…

Even after we are released from our sins by His Blood we are still responsible to “press on” to come to that repentance which He needs to “silence” His wrath against the world…

He is looking for Intercessors…

He is looking for those who will go deeper and deeper and deeper into repentance until there is nothing that they have not repented from…

As they repent they gain “ground” or a place – as Rees Howells calls it – of intercession from which they can pray as led by the Lord to release others…

This is our place as priests of God…

We are priests of God…

We petition the Lord on behalf of our fellow men that they would be made acceptable to the Lord…

This is the activity of the Saints in heaven – not the only activity but one of the activities…

The Lord showed me that this week – or last week – that when I die and go to heaven I will continue to pray…

Why?

Because Jesus always lives to make intercession for them…

It will be different in heaven as I don’t have any sin left once I get to heaven but I will still be interceding for those left on earth who know the Lord and for those left on earth who will come to know the Lord…

Jesus does and whatever Jesus does I will do…

Just as Jesus only did the things that He saw His Father doing so I – in heaven will only do the things which I see Jesus doing and also which He puts on my heart to do – like worship Him…

When the Lord gives us the gift of repentance regarding any specific situation it really is the real thing, the “real deal”…

We feel it and we genuinely, un-forced-ly repent from our heart, we are so sad and so sorry at the same time and we wish that everyone else could be given what we have been given…

The more we are forgiven the more we wish everyone could be forgiven more and more and more…

It makes us so slow to wish for God’s Judgement on anyone although we know that He will Judge and we know that those who endure His Judgement deserve it and that His Judgement is Righteous…

It makes us so slow to wish for Judgement and causes us to plead with the Lord to have mercy on all that He has made – we have experienced this and we wish that everyone alive – even our enemies – could experience this too…

We know that not everyone will experience the Lord’s Mercy but we know that our hearts are being transformed so that we wish more and more and more that that could be the case…

O God grant us the gift of repentance more and more and more until all sin in our hearts has been dealt with – I do not believe that we will ever “walk” into a place of sinless perfection but O Lord please draw us closer and closer and closer to You so we can walk in Holiness before You and as we do we will become the most compassionate people on the planet and all Judgement from our lips – unrighteous and unloving Judgement – will cease and we will plead for Mercy from the God of all Mercy and He will hear us and according to His Sovereign will He will answer us…

According to His Sovereign Will…

In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety. (Hebrews 5:7 NASB)

He was heard because of His Piety – so will we be – the Lord may not grant us what we desire in terms of the salvation of every single person ever to live from here until the end of time or until the end of our generation or until the end of our lives or whatever it is that He puts on our hearts to pray – but we will be heard because of our piety when He gives us the gift of repentance (more and more and more) and according to His Sovereign Will He will answer us for His Glory Alone…

O God grant Your Church on this earth the gift of repentance every day, every hour, every second, every instant of every day until the end of this age when You come again to Reign…

Let the repentance be felt, let it be recognised, let it be heartfelt and powerful towards pulling down strongholds, release Your Gift of Repentance over Your Body in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

O God as in that day to come, so now open a fountain for the Church of the Living God alive right now on planet earth…

Open a fountain and remove the foul spirits of unbelief and unrepentance and pride and extravagance or false comfort and false security or temporal pleasures and temporal happenings and temporal happiness far from us…

Give us the Heart of God…

Flood us with the Spirit of Repentance…

Flood us with the Spirit of the Knowledge of the Fear of the Lord…

“The Covering”…

Have any of us ever been told anything similar to the below?

“You need to be under the Covering of your Pastor, if you are not under the Covering then you will fall away from God and all manner of terrible things will happen to you”…

I remember at the time when my wife and I were married that we had this lie told very believably to us by a very close friend who was not involved with the church which we had attended and had been members of prior to our engagement…

It was in the week leading up to our wedding – it shook us, as prior to this, this very close friend had been very supportive to us (this very close friend remained supportive to us after our wedding – it was just a “barb” from the enemy)…

Praise the Lord that we had a very strong man in the Lord who was sent by the Lord at the time our church “deserted us” who spoke words of wisdom to us regarding this lie when I rang him for confirmation of what I sensed the Lord was telling me…

“Jesus is your Covering”, he said evenly and with love, “You don’t need a Pastor to be your covering”…

This man was himself a Pastor and was and is to this day the man that I have most seen the likeness of Jesus Christ through in the leadership role which I watched him fulfil from quite close quarters…

I am indebted to this man for his understanding as I am to the Lord for providing him to us at that time…

The Blood of Jesus – Christ our Passover has been Sacrificed – is the Covering which we need (this is, in so many words, what he told me)…

The husband is also to Cover the wife in the sense that he is to be – as Christ is to the Church – a protection for her in that he is to lay his life down for his wife in wishing all the best for her and for her to be transformed into the likenss of Christ – even above his own transformation into the likeness of Christ he is to wish this and pray this – not forcing this on his wife – for her and to live this infront of her (again, in so many words, this is what he spoke and subsequently taught me through his life)…

When our Pastor friend gave us this confirmation we were at peace…

And have remained so since with respect to this issue (12 years and counting)… 🙂

So many lies have been fed to the Church by the enemy of our souls, so many lies…

Another lie is tithing…

“You must tithe to your church otherwise God will not bless you and you will be under a curse”…

This is not applicable to New Testament believers…

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV)

Another lie is church membership…

We are members of the Body of Christ if we are born again, born of God…

for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, because we are members of His body. (Ephesians 5:29-30 NASB)

If we are not born again or born of God even if we are members of a church this does no good for us before a Holy God…

He needs to see the Blood over us, if He does not see the Blood over us, then our church membership will do us no good in His Sight…

We have so many other lies within the church, sown by the enemy of our souls, regarding, “If you do this, God will do this”, “If you don’t do this, God will not do this”…

False authority, false leadership, false anointings…

O God have mercy on us all – open our eyes to see the truth and to remove iniquity far from us, far from us all, give us Your Heart to see Your Ways, O Lord God the Almighty…

God is the One who appoints leaders in His Church and this is what He says through the Apostle Paul,

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. (I Corinthians 11:28 NASB)

 But what do we see in the church today?

“You must obey your Pastor”…

“You must submit to your Pastor”…

“You must honour your Pastor”…

“You must respect your Pastor”…

“You must be under your Pastor”…

“You must have a Pastor”…

But what does the Lord say?

He says that in the Church He has set first Apostles, second Prophets, third Teachers, then, then, etc…

I personally am quite happy to believe that the Lord “lumps” Pastors & Teachers under one title in Ephesians 4,

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13 NASB)

Some biblical exegetes believe this to be the case – in the original text of Ephesians 4:11 – which would make the so called “5 fold ministry” into the “4 fold ministry”…

Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor & Teacher and if this meaning was applied to 1 Corinthians 11:28 – where the Evangelist clearly does not operate in the Church but outside of the Church to bring converts into the Church – then this would make absolute sense of this scripture and place the Pastor & Teacher at “number 3” in the “pecking order” – in terms of God’s Divine Authority Structure – in the Church – the Church of the Living God…

But where are the Apostles and Prophets?

Ephesians 4:13 tells us that they will be around “until we all attain…” – have we already all attained?

I do not believe that we have…

So should they still be around?

Yes, I believe that they should…

But where are they?

I believe, sadly, for the most part that they have been “kicked out” of the church (or stifled) by those spirits who do not want them to be there – they are, for the most part, I believe, right now living in “the wilderness” being prepared by the Lord for the coming move of God…

Who would want to kick these ones out?

Which spirit would want to do this?

Who is it who now appears to be “lord” of the church?

The Pastor…

Is this God’s Order?

Not even the Pastor & Teacher – it appears to just be the Pastor…

The Apostles are required to submit to the Pastor…

The Prophets are required to submit to the Pastor…

The Evangelists – even though they are not even “in the Church” – are also required to submit to the Pastor…

The Pastor in turn is not required to submit to the Evangelist or to the Prophet or to the Apostle but submits only to himself (or herself)…

If this occurs then it is a complete reversal of biblical Authority…

Which spirit would want this to occur?

The Spirit of God?

Or the spirit of antichrist?

If this is the case and we find ourselves in a church where this is in operation what should we do?

Should we remain in that church paying our unbiblical tithes to support a system which is antichrist?

Is this pleasing to God?

No, I do not believe that it is…

What are we to do?

I believe, as the Lord leads, that we are to leave and that we are to forsake the ungodly system in our hearts…

Feeling no bitterness towards our brothers and sisters in the Lord and feeling no bitterness towards those who do not know Him who are involved in these ungodly systems, we are to forsake the ungodly system and wait upon the Lord for Him to re-establish the True New Testament Church in our midst…

Which He will do…

In His time…

If He subsequently calls us to go back into that system, that ungodly system, to “save some” then it will be as “cleansed ambassadors” for His Kingdom and not as “submissive servants” to the spirits which operate in – blinding the eyes of those within – and control those systems…

If He called us, it would be going back in “under Him”…

Let’s join together in seeking the Lord for the re-establishment of the True New Testament Church – if a candlestick has been removed by the Holy Spirit or wasn’t even established by the Holy Spirit then we should not be there – if a Candlestick has been placed by the Holy Spirit and not yet removed then we should fight in the Spirit for it to be restored…

The signs of an Apostle are the following according to scripture,

The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles. (2 Corinthians 12:12 NASB)

Paul performed signs (true signs), wonders (true wonders) and miracles (true miracles)…

Apart from this and more importantly than this he could say, “Imitate me as I imitate Christ” – his life was a fragrance of Christ…

He was the “real deal”…

He appointed leaders who were the “real deal”…

And it is with respect to these leaders that the writer to the Hebrews wrote,

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you. (Hebrews 13:17 NASB)

Imitate me as I imitate Christ…

Apart from such external things, there is the daily pressure on me of concern for all the churches. (2 Corinthians 11:28 NASB)

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21 NASB)

Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25 NASB)

God has appointed in the Church, first Apostles…

If we find ourselves in a Church where there is an Apostle who has submitted all to the Lord, given up all their “worldly wealth”, does not require any tithes or offerings or “free will” offerings from the “congregation” but who instead works “night and day” with their hands (or allows the Lord to provide for their needs Supernaturally – as Rees Howells & George Muller did) so that they won’t be a burden to anyone and who is performing, true signs, true wonders and true miracles and is also proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord – as the Apostle Paul did – and “night and day” who is investing themselves in the lives of those whom they are training – to imitate me as I imitate Christ – and showing them the way practically and living with them having all things in common with them – someone who is devoted to prayer never ceasing in it in the Holy Spirit – if we find ourselves in such a Church where this is occurring then we have a biblical mandate to submit ourselves to such an Apostle and to any Prophets or Pastors & Teachers who are operating under such an Apostle as the Lord leads us…

What if the church we are in does not (or if none of the churches in our city) have such an Apostle?

Then we have a biblical mandate to pray – as the 120 did in the Upper Room – for the Holy Spirit to come and Clothe the believers in our city with Power from on High…

And we have a biblical mandate to do this until He comes and does just that…

This is where Revival commences from…

This is where is is birthed…

Through desperation for “the real thing”…

Where we cannot live and we will not live with anything other than “the real thing”…

Where we will not be hypocrites…

Where we will not “play the game”…

Where we will live for the Lord or we will die trying…

Where we will not accept the “status quo”…

Where we will give ourselves to pray – even if we die in the attempt and we will allow our lives to be poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of the faith of the Saints…

But we will not die in the attempt for He will come to us… 🙂

Where we will not surrender…

Where we will die trying…

This is true travail and this will move the Heart of God…

Thank You Jesus… 🙂

He will bring Revival when we cry to Him with our whole hearts…

Nothing less…

Nothing more…

He will meet us in this place and give us what we so desire…

Give us this desire Father – to travail before You – and let none of us faint as we wait before You to bring Revival to this earth in the Mighty Name of Jesus, So let it be, Come Lord Jesus and Breathe on these slain that they may come to life an exceedingly Great and Vast Army for Your Glory in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen and Amen…

Come Lord Jesus and take Your Place in Your Church and let Your Name be Glorified above all others in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

I suppose it’s time that I’m honest about what the Lord has told me regarding a house of prayer for the nations which He’d like to be established here in Christchurch…

I suppose there’s lots of “churches” here in Christchurch…

a house of prayer for the nations is not to be a “church”…

I suppose there are lots of “outreach groups” here in Christchurch…

a house of prayer for the nations is not to be an “outreach group”…

a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch is meant to be a 24/7 place where people can go to pour out their hearts to the Lord for the nations – for the salvation of the nations…

Starting with Israel…

To the Jew first and then to the Gentile…

That is the biblical pattern, that is the Heart of God, that is the apostolic pattern…

I suppose a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch is supposed to be like a house of prayer for the nations is meant to be like in any other city in the world…

Focused on prayer…

Focused on reaching God’s Heart – in the sense of sharing His Heart – for the nations and touching His Heart to move in the nations of the earth to bring salvation to the ends of the earth…

I see worship, I see passionate worship, touching His Heart with our worship…

I see the prophetic, prophetic worship, new songs…

I see waiting on the Lord, waiting in silence before the Lord, for Him to Speak to us…

I see intercession, prophetic intercession, deep anguishing cries for the birthing of God’s Plans in the nations of the world…

I see teaching, in the sense of teaching God’s Heart in intercession and in prophetic intercession and in our lives being our intercession…

I see diversity of expression of our love for Him under the Sovereign Leading of His Holy Spirit…

I see unity in our purpose to “lay ourselves out” for Him to bring Revival to the ends of the earth and with it salvation – like we’ve never seen before – to the ends of the earth – until such a time as every creature alive on the planet has heard the Gospel presented to them in the Love and in the Anointing of God…

I see that there is a lot of work to do before the Church can be One in this generation…

Until we can be mature and of the full stature of the measure of Christ which He has planned us to be…

No divisions in His Body all over the earth…

What a huge call…

This is our call and this I see to be the call of every house of prayer for the nations in every city in the entire world…

I know when the Lord first put this word a house of prayer for the nations on my heart I stopped and asked myself “what does this mean?”, “what is it?” even “where is it?” all in one deep question in my mind, it was a “teachable moment” for me as I was all focused on understanding it and the Lord said to me, “You are”…

Wow, so first and foremost a house of prayer for the nations is within every saint of God – in our hearts where the Holy Spirit (the One who intercedes for us) dwells…

a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch will not have any membership…

There will be no card which anyone needs to sign saying, “I belong to a house of prayer for the nations in Christchurch, New Zealand”…

There will be no obligations to being involved with a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch – this is a free will initiative as the Lord leads you…

No donations will ever be requested from anyone who feels they are to be involved…

If it’s going to happen at all the Lord will need to make it happen, cos I can’t make it happen…

I don’t even have a clue where we’re going to meet or when (until we are “up and running” in the 24/7 sense of the word 🙂 )…

I do sense that there will be a physical meeting place…

I felt that the Lord gave me AMI Stadium when He first told me about this before the September 2010 Christchurch Earthquake…

I had AMI Stadium on my heart when I returned from Manila and went in there before the February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake but the person I needed to see about hiring out a room (like a conference room) was unavailable at the time…

AMI Stadium got “munted” in the February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake and hasn’t reopened since…

AMI Stadium has now transferred to its new Addington facility – what used to be Rugby League Park – but I haven’t had any sense to approach anyone from the Christchurch Stadium Trust about using one of the Corporate Suites as a venue at this point in time…

I suppose I don’t mind where we meet, in someone’s home, in a rented room, wherever the Lord gives us a peace to meet – I suppose the thing I’m seeing is that we need to meet and supplicate before the Lord in unity on behalf of our nation and on behalf of the nations of the world – especially Israel – even before we supplicate on behalf of our own nation we should first seek the Lord for His Will to be done in His Nation, the Nation of Israel…

I’m going on a word from the Lord here – the Lord told me to come back to Christchurch and start a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch…

I really don’t have a clue how to do that but feel it is time to “put out there” the vision of this work which I believe the Lord has told me that I am to commence…

I suppose at the right time He will bring others to me who really have this on their hearts – in fact He has told me that He will bring others to me – even from the other side of the world – who He has placed this on their hearts – to partner with me in commencing this work…

So this is and will be a work in progress…

I haven’t got any blueprints, or fancy ideas about how it’s all meant to work, I just know that the Lord will show me and show those whom He calls to come and partner with me in this work…

There you go, I’ve expressed my vision in terms of a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch, is there anyone interested in being a part of this work (remember no membership 🙂 )?

Pssss.  I do see though over time that all the Church (those who have been born of God) here in Christchurch will partake in a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch as we all come together, no matter what our backgrounds in terms of denominations, or streams, or whatever and seek His Face in unity for Him to pour out His Spirit upon our nation and upon the nations of the world, especially Israel, His Nation…  I believe that a house of prayer for the nations here in Christchurch will truly become a work of the Church of God here in Christchurch and that we will see the world impacted for God as we join together in His Name to pray that His will would be done and that His Kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven…

I went onto Google yesterday afternoon or evening and googled “Prayer for Revival” or “Praying for Revival” and one of the first “hits” to come up was a mention of a treatise by Jonathan Edwards called, “AN HUMBLE ATTEMPT TO PROMOTE PRAYER FOR REVIVAL” (1746).  I haven’t read the entire work (I’ve only read a few paragraphs) but part of the entire work can be found at the following link:

What struck me was the text which Edwards used as the basis of his treatise and also some of the striking language which he used in terms of his belief that the Lord would move on the basis of “extraordinary” prayer…

We may observe who they are that shall be united in thus seeking the Lord of   hosts:  the inhabitants of many cities, and of many countries, yea, many people, and strong nations, great multitudes in different parts of the world shall conspire in this business.  From the representation made in the prophecy, it appears rational to suppose, that it will be fulfilled something after this manner:-  There shall be given much of a spirit of prayer to God’s people, in many   places, disposing them to come into an express agreement, unitedly to pray to God in an extraordinary manner, that he would appear for the help of his church, and in mercy to mankind, and pour out his Spirit, revive his work, and advance his spiritual kingdom in the world, as he promised.  This disposition to prayer, and union in it, will gradually spread more and more, and increase to greater degrees; with which at length will gradually be introduced a revival of  religion, and a disposition to greater engagedness in the worship and service of  God, amongst his professing people.  This being observed, will be the means of awakening others, making them sensible of the wants of their souls, and exciting in them a great concern for their spiritual and everlasting good, and putting them upon earnestly crying to God for spiritual mercies, and disposing them to join in that extraordinary seeking and serving of God.  In this manner religion shall be propagated, till the awakening reaches those that are in the highest stations, and till whole nations be awakened, and there be at length an accession of many of the chief nations of the world to the church of God.  Thus after the inhabitants of many cities of Israel, or of God’s professing people, have taken up and pursued a joint resolution, to go and pray before the Lord, and seek the Lord of hosts, others shall be drawn to worship and serve him with them; till at length many people and strong nations shall join themselves to them; and there shall, in process of time, be a vast accession to the church, so that it shall be ten times as large as it was before; yea, at length, all nations shall be converted unto God.  Thus (Zech 8:23.) “ten men shall take hold, out of all languages of the nations, of the skirt of him that is a Jew,” (in the sense of the apostle, Rom 2:28-29.) “saying, We will go with you; for we have heard, that God is with you.” And thus shall be fulfilled, (Psalm 65:2) “O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.”

The text which Edwards used was as follows:

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.  (Zechariah 8:20-23 KJV)

Edwards believed that this had not yet occurred in his day…

I believe that it has not yet occurred in our day also…

But it is near…

And it will happen in our day…

The Lord has turned again to His Nation, the Nation of Israel…

I have sensed this in the spirit (the spiritual realm)…

His Nation, the Nation of Israel will take root below and bear fruit above as the scripture says…

Once more a remnant of the house of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above. (Isaiah 37:31 NIV)

It will; the time of her sadness – her widowhood – is nearly over – it is over already in the spirit (the spiritual realm) and will soon be seen to be over in the natural…

The Land of Israel is soon to receive her salvation…

Before her King “cometh unto her” she will see the greatest Revival in the history of mankind – the turning of the whole earth (in the purposes of God this was always the meaning of her existance) to Himself…

He created the Nation of Israel as a light to the nations, He wanted her to pray for the salvation of the nations and He wanted her to adopt the nations into her “fold” to seek the Lord together with her in the House of the Lord…

But the place for the Gentiles was “marred”, it was not recognised although the Lord repeatedly put it on the hearts of His Prophets to go to the nations with prophecies which would turn them back to Him – although He did all this the Nation of Israel did not fulfil her mandate to become  a house of prayer for all nations…

He was grieved when He was on earth to see how far they had fallen below what He had intended for them…

So grieved that we see a single display of aggression from the Holy God Himself in the act of making a whip from cords and overturning the tables and throwing out the moneychangers from His Father’s House which had been intended to be called a house of prayer for all nations…

This is the passion with which the Holy God of the Universe has towards the salvation of the nations of the world…

He is the Saviour of all men, especially of those who believe as the scripture tells us…

And He loved the world so much that He came in the form of His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sin which we deserved to pay…

When He came to His Own and His Own received Him not He said this…

“Behold, your house is left to you desolate; and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!'” (Luke 13:35 NASB)

Scripture tells us this…

Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.” (Isaiah 62:11 NASB)

And this is what we are about to see…

From the end of the earth we are about to hear a statement, a loud and clear statement, from the end of the earth, where the Nation of God should have come to preach the Gospel, from the end of the earth, a Prophetic Statement will be heard back to the Nation of God, “Lo, your salvation comes”…

It will be heard, I am speaking in the Spirit, it will be heard, I know this in my spirit, Praise You Jesus, It will be heard…

From the nation of New Zealand, from the end of the earth, the Prophetic Statement will go back to the Nation of God, “Lo, your salvation comes”…

And it has…

Their salvation has come…

The Lord’s attention has turned back to His Nation…

What will this mean?

This will be the salvation of the world…

The Prophetic Word which was spoken by Zechariah in this text which Jonathan Edwards preached on will come to pass in our day…

This text is not in the Millenium…

It will come to pass in our day…

Before He comes to Reign from Jerusalem…

Before the Fullness of the Gentiles has come in, in fact this text shows us the Fullness of the Gentiles being brought in as the Nation of Israel returns to its Husband, to its soon and coming King, to its Bridegroom, to its Redeemer and to its Lord…

Jesus Christ….

He said it would happen and it will happen…

He is not going to let a Single Word which He Spoke (He is the Word of God) return to Him Void, His Honour is at stake…

He has Spoken and He will fulfil every single word which He has Spoken…

There is a Nation which needs to be saved now…

This is not what we read of in Zechariah 12 – that day is yet future (and occurs just before the Millenium begins)…

This is also not what we read of in the early part of Micah 4 – that time is yet future (in the Millenium)…

 This is, I believe, what we read of in Romans 11…

I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too. (Romans 11:11-16 NASB)

For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead…

This is what I am seeing coming to pass at this point in time…

Their acceptance and this resulting in what we see prophesied in Zechariah 8:20-23…

“Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities. ‘The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, “Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will also go.” ‘So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD.’ “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’” (Zechariah 8:20-23 NASB)

Where “pray” in the KJV is interpreted “entreat the favour of the Lord” in the NASB…

“Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. “He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, That we may live before Him. “So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.” (Hosea 6:1-3 NASB)

This scripture is about to be fulfilled in our lifetime…

The Nation of Israel will experience this scripture in our lifetime…

And as they do, the nations of the earth will be drawn to the Lord to experience His Salvation as He always intended…

O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. (Psalm 65:2 KJV)

Gill, in his Exposition of the Entire Bible, commenting on Psalm 65:2, said this…

…it may be considered as a prophecy of the calling of the Gentiles, and of their calling upon God through Christ, and of their coming to God in his house, which was to be, and is, an house of prayer to all people, ( Isaiah 56:7 ) ( Zechariah 8:21-23 )

I really sense that verse 20 of Zechariah 8 could occur anywhere around the world – like an organisation of the nations to come together to unify in their intent to go and seek the Lord together with their brothers and sisters in the Lord in Jerusalem – and then verse 21 is what occurs when they get there – kind of like a delegation sent from the nations to agree with the brothers and sisters in Jerusalem…

As we seek the Lord together He will pour out the blessing “life forevermore” upon the nations of the earth…

There will be Revival…

Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12 NASB)

It is time to seek the Lord until He comes…

Seek and you shall find…

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9 NIV)

now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? (Luke 18:7 NASB)
