I woke up this morning with this phrase or this prayer on my heart…

The Spirit of Repentance…

I found myself crying out to the Lord to grant me the Spirit of Repentance and the Spirit of Intercession so that I could repent, truly repent from my heart, from the things in me which the Lord was showing me that I needed to be repenting from – the things in me that were not pleasing to Him that He was bringing to my attention…

I want to be clean – and I know that only He can do this…

I cannot help Him – He must do this…

Fill me Lord with the Spirit of Repentance so that I can truly repent and deeply Know You in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

I’ve just returned from Jonathan’s rugby and went to search for this phrase in scripture…

I came across the following scripture which has deeply impacted me…

For seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach!” In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel. It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning, then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy. There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain. (Isaiah 4 NASB)

Obviously this scripture is yet future…

The thing which “grabbed me” was verse 4:

When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning,

The Spirit of Judgement and the The Spirit of Burning…

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Judgement and the Spirit of Burning…

The Spirit of Repentance is the Spirit of Judgement and the Spirit of Burning…

The Holy Spirit is the One who grants Repentance…

He is the Spirit of Judgement and the Spirit of Burning…

O God, burn in me…

O God, judge me…

Crucify me Lord that I might be crucified indeed…

Burn in me that I might be done away with and be left

a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy. There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.

Let Your Presence over me be a canopy and a protection O Lord…

Be Everything Over me in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

It is time Lord…

Come Lord Jesus and take Your Place…

As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11 NASB)

Come Lord Jesus and baptize me with the Holy Spirit and with Fire…

Let the Spirit of Repentance, the Spirit of Judgement, the Spirit of Burning, the Consuming Fire of God, let It fall on me, let Him fall on me, the Spirit of the Living God and let Him Consume me…

Let Him finish me off…

I do not want to live any longer…

Come Lord Jesus and take Your Place…

Accept Lord Jesus my sacrifice to You…

My body on Your altar as a living sacrifice…

I offer myself to You Lord and ask You to consume me…

Thank You Father…

Give me the Spirit of Repentance…

The Spirit of the Fear and of the Knowledge of God…

The Spirit of Revelation in the Knowledge of Him…

O Holy Father, Give me what I want – which is You…

I want You with all my heart, with all my heart – I want You…

You are the desire of my heart…

You are my desire…

I want You…

I want to be pleasing to You…

I want to be acceptable to You…

I know that I am acceptable to You through the Blood of Jesus but I want my behaviour – the deeds which I perform – to be acceptable to You and my heart – the thoughts and intents of my heart – to be acceptable to You…

For this to be the case You must Possess me…

You must live through me…

You must indwell me and burn through me…

Burn through me Lord…

Burn through me…

Take me Lord, deeper and deeper and deeper into You – take me Lord…

The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, And He will not judge by what His eyes see, Nor make a decision by what His ears hear; But with righteousness He will judge the poor, And decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. (Isaiah 11:2-4 NASB)

Please Lord, let Your Spirit rest upon me, the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, The Spirit of Counsel and Strength, The Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord, the Spirit of Judgement and the Spirit of Burning and the Spirit of Truth who the Father sent in Your Name Lord Jesus…

Let me be filled with the Holy Spirit of God – let me see the things which You want me to see and hear the things which You want me to hear…

Praise You Jesus, open my lips that my mouth may declare Your Praise…

Release this anointing Lord onto Your Church on earth at this point in time…

Release it Lord…

Let us see You as we are meant to see You and hear You as we are meant to hear You…

O Lord open our lips that our mouths may declare Your Praise…

Let it flow Father, the anointing of God and the Spirit of Repentance, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Let it flow all over the world the outpouring of the Power and the Might of God through His Holy Spirit, Your Holy Spirit Father, let it flow and let it flow and let it flow, the anointing of God all over Your Church that we might repent before You and be “found by You” not having a righteousness which is our own but that which is on the basis of faith in You, a righteousness which You have created in us on the basis of faith by an understanding of the application of Your Grace – Your Grace in Christ Jesus…

Worship You Jesus…

Fill us with Your Holy Spirit – let the repentance be deep and let it be lasting, let the burning be deep and let it be lasting, in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

Thank You Lord…

Do it Lord…

This is what we need, this is what we must have to avert disaster in our lives and in our world, we know that You will have Mercy as we repent before You, there may still be Judgement but there will be Mercy on those who turn to You with all their hearts in the Mighty Name of Jesus…

We want to be the recipients of Your Mercy Lord and not of Your Judgement…

Fill us with the Spirit of the Knowledge and Fear of the Lord so that we might know You…

I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. (Zechariah 12:10 NASB)

Again Lord pour out over me and over us all – all who know You Lord – the Spirit of Grace and of Supplication so that we would look upon You whom we have pierced and mourn for You as for an only son…

Let us mourn…

Let us grieve, mourn and wail…

Let us change our laughter to mourning and our joy to gloom, let us humble ourselves before the Lord and He will lift us up…

Let us humble ourselves before the Lord and let us travail before Him…

Ask now, and see If a male can give birth. Why do I see every man With his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale? (Jeremiah 30:6 NASB)

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, (Galatians 4:19 KJV)

Let us travail until He comes and fills us with His Holy Spirit…

Give us – those who know You – our heart’s desires and come and fill us with Your Holy Spirit – enable us to repent and to touch Your Heart with our repentance towards You Father and our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ…

I love You Lord, come and finish in me what You have begun – transform me – and all like me who long for You with our whole hearts – into the Image of Your Son Jesus Christ – we long for You Lord – You are our hearts desire…

Praise You Jesus, Glorify Your Name – the Name Above All Names – the Name which Your Father Gave You which is Above all other Names – in all the earth…

Hear our prayers O Lord, answer our prayers O Lord, hear our anguished cries in the Mighty Name of Jesus and let us continue to pour them out before You until You come and bring what it is that we have been waiting for…

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen and Amen…

Let the Flame burn brighter in us until we can no longer contain it and then let It burn out through us to all around us – take over to such an extent that we are no longer in control of our own lives but You are just blazing out through us in all directions in the Mighty Name of Jesus, not one, not two, not three, not a hundred or a thousand or even a million but each and every one of Your Children alive on planet earth at this point in time – let us Blaze for You in the Mighty Name of Jesus until the whole earth is Consumed with the Fire of Your Jealousy in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Consumed with the Fire of Your Jealousy…

Burn in us and make us a burning which will not be forgotten in the Mighty Name of Jesus – an Everlasting Memorial to Your Name – Thank You Lord, Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord Holy Spirit…

I worship You Lord, You are Worthy of my Praise – You are the Source of my life – Glorify Your Name in all the earth – You are the Gentle Holy Spirit of the Living God – and You are Lord of my life – You bring Glory to Jesus through my life – You are my provision and You are my strength – all my streams are in You Lord Holy Spirit – Spirit of the Living God – bring Glory to Jesus through my life – Bring Glory to the Father through my life and let all know that You are Lord and that there is nothing which You cannot do through a yielded human vessel in the Power of the Holy Spirit and that You yield the human vessel so that the human vessel can yield to You – You are Almighty and You are All Loving to those who have been Chosen to Know Your Name – Hallelujah Lord, Glorify Your Name – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – throughout the entire earth in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen and Amen…

Fill us up Father with all the Fullness of God…

We long for You, Fill us up Lord…

We are hungering and thirsting for Righteousness, we are seeking You Lord – fill us Lord, honour Your Word and fill us Lord for the rest of our lives – not just for now but for the rest of our lives – continuously fill us Lord…

who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. (Romans 8:34 NASB)

Who can condemn a man who Jesus Christ is interceding for?
