The Lord is moving me to a place where I do nothing on my own initiative…

Like Jesus did when He was on earth…

This has been a difficult challenge for me as I’ve always felt that there was some secret ‘satisfaction’ or ‘fulfillment’ in ‘doing my own thing’…

He is showing me that there is no ‘pain’ for me in doing things His way at His initiation (the pain is in the flesh but this isn’t me and I don’t need to fear it – I’ve been fearing the pain of selflessness – not getting what I usually want – but I’ve realized that I don’t need to fear the unknown of the vacuum of selflessness as the Lord will fill it as I surrender to it – replacing selfishness and it’s ‘pleasures’ with selflessness and His pleasures – the joy of doing good to others – blessing others)…

I’m not perfect here, far from it, but I am seeing some progress in Him naturally taking over in areas and enabling me to follow – it is very peaceful and your stomach doesn’t feel like it’s tied up in knots – good for eliminating stomach ulcers I guess… 🙂

I have a friend who needs to hear this – let God naturally enable you to relinquish control to Him so that He naturally lives through you – that is my word to my friend… 🙂

When God lives through us we naturally focus on other’s well being and we have no conscience as there is nothing wrong with what we are doing – selfishness always gives us a bad or guilty conscience…

The Holy Spirit is holy and will make us holy – in His own time…

As we relinquish control to Him to do this – in His own time – He is able to work in us and vanquish sin within us…

This is a natural process…

We cannot help Him…

We must follow…
