What is fear?

It is anything we cannot control…

It is anything that is outside of our control…

Anything which is an unknown variable in our lives…

These unknown variables are the things which cause fear…

We isolate ourselves to avoid these unknown variables…

We protect ourselves to eliminate them but then we are surprised by a chance happening where our defenses are removed and we are exposed to our fears…

When Jesus lives through us He doesn’t need to know what is about to happen, like when He was struck and blindfolded and asked, “Who hit you?”…

He didn’t know when He was going to be hit and he didn’t need to…

He was trusting His Father…

Jesus doesn’t know when He’s coming back to earth to gather His Bride and establish His Kingdom, again He is trusting His Father…

So many things we fear – our inabilities – our failings – our weaknesses – but Jesus isn’t weak, He isn’t afraid – He is trusting His Father – all Judgement has been entrusted to Him and He is waiting until He is released by His Father’s Word to come back to earth to rule…

I’ve been seeing recently that as I say, “Take over” and allow Jesus to live through me in a situation that I am submitting to God in that situation to do whatever He has planned…

Waiting on the Lord means just that – letting the Lord act through you and if He doesn’t not to try and help Him but to continue to wait until He arises in you to defeat your enemies…

Jesus isn’t afraid and Jesus doesn’t need to know every aspect of His future in me – I struggle with both of those items so it’s better for me that Jesus lives through me cos then I’ll have His Peace…

This is what I want…

And it takes my focus off the unknown…

There is a protection in His Peace…

It is the antidote to fear…
