To lay down your life is the ultimate act of trust…

It is letting go…

It is letting go of your future…

It is letting go of your present…

It is letting go of all control…

It is allowing God to guide your life in whatever manner He sees fit…

He – the Lord – told me something over the weekend as I went on my run which really settled me…

I had been praying for someone – someone who needs to come to know the Lord – someone linked to someone I know – and the Lord had told me that this person would come to know Him but also that this person didn’t have long to live…

I was thinking of this person’s life – it was a sad life – and the Lord had previously told me that He loved this person more than He loved me but I couldn’t understand how this was possible as I was looking at this person’s ‘sorry life’…

Then He explained to me as I was on my run that over the space of eternity He would love all of His own to exactly the same amount – each would receive exactly the same amount of His Love – and now I see as I type that He will perfect all of His own in His Love…

Suddenly as He told me this my burden for this one and another one in the same sort of situation – one who has had a ‘sorry life’ and knows the Lord and will be removed soon from earth to be with Him – were lifted and I saw that it was ‘fair’…

He is in control of our experience of life on this earth, how much our flesh is practically removed from us and He will wipe away every tear from our eyes once we get to our place with Him, once our flesh is removed from us and we grow in Him, with Him, forever…

The rooms which He has prepared for us in His Father’s House…

This is our abode forever and we are safe there – we still have our privacy there and He will meet us there but even there our knowledge of His Love will be at His discretion…

He will decide the portion which He allots to us for all eternity and it will be fair…

I saw this on my run…

I saw that the amount of love we each receive on earth is based on our call – our effectiveness in our call depends on the amount of love ‘released’ to us by the Lord…

Why am I sharing this?

Surrendering to the Lord in all things is surrendering to His timing in our lives…

He looks at the Eternal Perspective and He sees that the way He is treating us is fair…

Once we see this we can stop ‘looking over our shoulder’ at the way He appears to be treating others and submit to Him in our intercession where we reach ‘brick walls’ where He says, “No!” as we pray for release to certain ones, understanding that He will release His love to these ones in His presence for eternity if not right now on earth…

He is Sovereign…

If He gives desire to these ones to be free then they will be free…

If He gives faith to these ones that they will be free on earth then they will be free on earth…

Otherwise they will be free with Him in His Presence for eternity and grow in their knowledge of Him for eternity…

When the Lord releases revelation to me I flourish, when He doesn’t I can’t ‘get any’ for myself, I just have to ‘live up’ to the amount which He has already released and wait for further revelation…

Revelation brings life, it just naturally brings life…

I love it when the Lord releases revelation…
