Now is the time for harvest…

In February 2012 I gave my car away to a relative who had need of it – I felt the Lord told me to do this and so I did…

There was spiritual significance in this which I won’t go into…

Following this I was biking in to work until the end of last week…

I’d expected the Lord to give me another car…

I didn’t really pray about it much – I just expected it…

I persevered with my biking – bicycling…

I got wet a number of times…

I’m thick sometimes…

Finally it dawned on me that I needed to pray for a car – Nancy had told me that she’d prayed…

So – after Ricki-Lee got her car – after she, Shannon and Whangaroa had prayed and I’d prayed once (I think – that’s all I remember) – I began to pray for a car…

Around ten years ago the Lord promised me a car – there was a prophetic word which came out (two actually) at our Prophetic Intercessors group here in Christchurch and the Lord followed that up and then last week (Wednesday I believe) He gave me confirmation that that car was coming – it will be given to me and it will be brand new – I know what it is but I won’t say that here…

Anyway, last Thursday (I believe – just after that confirmation from the Lord the afternoon before) – I’d mentioned earlier in June that I was believing the Lord for a car to Gideon (who with his wife Catherine – supported by a leadership team – leads our local congregation here in Christchurch) – I had a ring from Gideon asking me about my faith regarding the car so I pretty much told him the above and then he said, “Well Winton Rufer has just phoned me saying that he doesn’t need one of his Soccer Academy fleet cars for a year and as soon as he said that I thought of you, ‘That’s Andrew’s car'”… 🙂

Awesome… 🙂

So I picked up this car – it’s very cool – and that has made things easier to get the children to sports – to get to our local congregation and also to be able to go off to Arthur’s Pass for our prayer conference coming up in September and I’m sure there’ll be other things also… 🙂

Anyway, Gideon picked me up from a café to take me to pick up the car and as I was sitting there with my work notebook the Lord got me to write down,

The season is changing…

Now is the time for harvest…

And then He got me to write down,

Now is the time for harvest…

seven times followed by,

declares the Lord

after the last time…

I sensed the context was New Zealand…

Just before that I’d written down,

I love You Lord…

I love You Lord…

I love You Lord…

I love You Lord…

(like from the song, “In moments like these…”)

He is releasing the harvest… 🙂

About andrew james horton

Hi, my name is Andrew James Horton... I am a Kiwi (New Zealander), born in Christchurch (05 September 1971), now in my early fifties... I am blessed to be married with five children and six grandchildren... :-) I am at present a Principal Structural Engineer, Director living in Christchurch, New Zealand... I am passionate about prophetic intercession and about revival both in New Zealand and throughout the world... I am passionate to pray that the Church, the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, will be all that He - the Lord Jesus Christ - desires her to be in our generation... Back in early September 2010 I felt that the Lord gave me the name of this blog site, "a house of prayer for the nations - prophetic intercession for worldwide revival" and wanted me to "put it out there" and start recording the prayers which were on my heart to pray in the hope that others would also be encouraged to share the prayers which were on their hearts to pray and that in the unity of the Spirit we could participate together in this activity in different locations around the world as He led us... If the Lord leads you, let's join together in prayer for the Lord's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven in our generation... Love to All, Andrew
