This is a strange post (in some ways)…

It was a comment which Catherine (Gideon’s wife) made to me yesterday which really got me thinking…

Enabling is a term which means that our response to something actually enables that thing to have power in our lives…

We can not enable demons…

If the demons are expressing themselves through a human being then we cannot enable that human being to continue to be a conduit for those demons to express themselves through…

I’ve just seen this…

I hadn’t seen it prior to Catherine’s comment…

If there are demonic manifestations coming at us through human agents then out of love for those human agents we must resist those demonic voices and entities and tell them to leave…

I’m seeing this and I’m feeling the authority…

It is not loving to allow those who communicate with us to be bound by these demonic entities and if these ones are in our sphere of authority then we have authority in Jesus Name to bind these entities out of love for these ones and out of a concern to ensure our “patch” of authority remains “uncontaminated” – I’ve never seen this before…

Love is the motive…

That’s been the “missing link” for me… 🙂

We don’t just have to “put up with” demonic manifestations…

We can overcome them in Jesus Name…

We have the authority to do this…

Yes, I have experienced times where the Lord has allowed me to be attacked by demonic manifestations and I’ve experienced His Peace in those times as I have “humbled” myself and allowed those demonic entities to attack me through human agents – another example is coming to mind as I type (but I’ve never been “happy” about it)…

Wow, this is powerful…

I’ve never known how to handle it when I am cursed – I’ve always felt shutdown and not known how to handle it…

When I’m cursed I speak to that demon and I command it to go (I see this now)…

It has no authority over me…

None…

Because I am in Christ and under His Blood – no demon has any authority over me…

None…

Ever…

And I don’t have to “put up with” their abuse…

Except if the Lord chooses to let me die – be martyred – at their hands – which He will show me I’m sure (like Paul being stoned and coming back into town)…

I can bind them and if I can’t remove them then I can bind them so that they cannot operate around me – in my sphere of authority…

If you are a wife of a demonically controlled husband and you are under his authority, i.e. in submission, then you have authority to bind those spirits “acting out” through your husband – in love to your husband and in love to yourself and your children…

If you are a husband of a demonically controlled wife – who is voluntarily living in your house – then you have authority over the spirits “acting out” through your wife – in love for your wife and in love to yourself and your children…

Tough love…

Is the word which comes to mind…

I’ve never understood tough love until now…

There is no point “keeping the peace” with demonic entities…

They must be evicted…

And if the Lord doesn’t release us to evict them (doesn’t release that anointing) – everything must be done in the Lord’s timing – then we must bind them so they cannot operate…

I believe this will be encouraging to at least one person who reads this… 🙂
