All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious concerning me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. (Psalm 139:16b-18 NIV)
The Lord has given me revelation of this (verse 16b) before but did so again recently to an even greater level or degree (and added revelation of verse 17 & 18)…
Praise You Jesus…
It is an amazing fact that our God has planned and carefully monitored our entire lives…
Everything which He has permitted is used for His Glory and for our good…
Always both together…
Never one by itself…
Always both together…
I am speaking of those who know Him…
This is why Paul (or the Holy Spirit through Paul) tells us,
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NIV)
&
give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV)
We are to give thanks in all circumstances because,
we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28b NASB)
We are called to enter into His Rest…
This (this revelation, this understanding) is His Rest…
This knowledge of His Sovereignty in our lives is peace to our souls…
But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. (Psalm 131:2 NIV)
It covers us with His peace…
Nothing which happens to us is outside of His will – what He has already decided to permit – for our lives…
Nothing that happened to Job was outside of God’s will for his life…
God used all things which Job went through for his good…
God did not permit Job to “go down”…
God protected Job…
God protected Peter…
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers. (Luke 22:31-32 NASB)
God protects us…
who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:5 NASB)
This place of understanding is a place of rest…
Love You Lord, Thank You for Your care of us, in Jesus Name, Thank You Father, Thank You Holy Spirit, I love You Jesus, You are my Best Friend, Glorify Your Name in all the earth, Amen & Amen
