The Lord gave me this verse (the last half of this verse) this afternoon as I went to have a late lunch and spend time with Him…
for he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen. (Hebrews 11:27b NASB)
This is what He’s given me for my life…
We were having a chat…
He was asking me what I wanted in this life…
I answered, “You”…
He asked me again…
Again I said, “You”…
He asked me a third time…
Again I said, “You”…
I asked Him if He wanted to ask me again…
He indicated “No, I knew that was what you would say”…
He had just shown me that if I wanted nothing good in this life and didn’t expect anything good in this life until I met Him in Glory that I’d never be disappointed (never have an unmet expectation) in this life…
I’d surrendered to that…
It was worth it…
Then He asked me what I wanted…
He’d prepared me for this…
Then He said some things which I won’t share…
Suffice to say it was along the lines of when He asked Solomon what he wanted and when he responded wisdom He said He would give him so much more…
but I didn’t want to hear it…
I just wanted to hear Him…
I just wanted Him…
He told me that He delighted in me…
I won’t go into the details…
I wept…
I didn’t care that I was in a public foodcourt…
His affirmation of me is enough…
It is all I need…
Then He gave me this verse…
We will endure, seeing Him who is unseen…
He will be our portion in this life…
I am going through deep waters at this time…
He has met me in my sorrow and in my pain…
I praise Him for He is always enough…
