I’m sure I’ve shared this before but feel to share it again as the Lord has been putting this on my heart with greater clarity recently…
The Lord’s plan was to use the nation of Israel to bring His Salvation to the world, from Judea to Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth, as Jesus spoke before He returned to the Right Hand of the Father…
The Gentiles were not to be viewed anymore as unclean but holy (as per Peter’s vision), and the Jewish Church was to spread throughout the world encompassing all who believed, both Jew and Gentile as one new man (as Paul spoke in scripture)…
Jesus is Jewish, from the tribe of Judah, and when we believe in Jesus we are placed ‘in Christ’ and become ‘spiritual Jews’ and are grafted in to ‘the Israel of God’, the group of all saints from all time who have believed in Jesus…
The Church is and always will be a Jewish Church, all that preceded Jesus’s coming in scripture spoke of Him and what He either has now accomplished or will soon accomplish…
Where Israel is spoken of in the prophetic scriptures which still have a future fulfillment it is the above definition of Israel which is in God’s Mind as He is speaking…
When the Lord speaks in Isaiah 54 or Isaiah 45, for example, He is speaking to those who may be either Jewish or Gentile by blood, who are part of ‘the Israel of God’ spiritually, who will join with God by going “to the Jew first” (Romans 1:16) with the gospel, believing that this is the time of the restoration of Israel and believing that through the restoration of Israel the world will be saved (Romans 11)…
This is the grand plan of scripture, God choosing a nation, seeking for their salvation and through their salvation bringing salvation to the rest of the world…
God commenced this work with Abraham (while still a Gentile), made him a Jew (through the covenant of circumcision) and promised that through his Seed (Jesus) all the nations of the earth would be blessed and that his (spiritual) offspring would be as many as the stars in the sky or the sand on the seashore…
Paul tells us in scripture that we are all children of Abraham by faith (Galatians 3:7)…
Thus, the Household of Faith is a Jewish house (with Gentile origins)…
See the balance?
How can God bless any ‘Gentile Church’ who neglects their Jewish roots by not going to the Jew first?
Romans 11 is so clear that it’s not going to be until the Jewish nation is restored to faith that the salvation of the world will occur…
Romans 11 is also clear that if the ‘Gentile Church’ neglects their responsibility to their Jewish roots that they, as wild olive branches, will be ‘cut off’…
When one suffers, all suffer…
Any mention of Revival which we hear about which is not (ultimately) focused on the salvation of the Jewish nation first, is not going to be blessed by God…
It is a counterfeit…
God’s focus is on the salvation of Israel, the physical nation, the blood nation, of Israel…
Once they are saved they will lead the greatest missionary effort which the world has ever seen resulting in the salvation of the world…
When I say that I am waiting, what I am saying is that I am waiting for the Lord to enable me to move in the above calling…
To align me to be able physically and practically to move in the above calling…
In my heart, I am surrendered to this calling and to make it my top priority until the nation of Israel is saved, the missionary explosion to the world is taking place and to continue to fan the flame of the salvation of Israel right until there is no more time, i.e. until Jesus returns…
“for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.” Matthew 10:23b NASB
This is what I want to live for…
I am in an incubation or waiting phase at this point in time, waiting to be released into this call…
Everything else I’m doing (in submission to the Holy Spirit) is focused on this objective, which I believe is surrendered to the will of God…
I believe the Lord has shown me my place in all this and that I am to wait for its fulfillment, for it can only be fulfilled by Him, in His timing, for His glory, for my good and for the good of everyone else who will come to know Him… 🙂
