I’d been listening over and over and over again to the Rend Collective song, “Boldly I Approach” on our Waitangi Day holiday which we had over here in New Zealand on Monday…
Just this morning as I was getting dressed for work I suddenly twigged…
The Joy of the Lord is our strength…
I’d known that but I’d never known where the Joy came from or why…
Then I suddenly twigged…
“There is therefore now no condemnation”…
Romans 8:1 provides the substance for the reality of Nehemiah 8:10…
Or stated another way, because there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus we – those who are in Christ Jesus and have the knowledge of this revelation burning within our hearts, living within our hearts – experience the Joy of the Lord as our strength…
Yes, this is the truth…
That’s why we often meet some quite sad Christians…
They don’t know that there is therefore now no condemnation for them…
They are living under condemnation and striving to do better and thus are not filled with the Lord’s Joy…
It’s that simple…
Leave behind condemnation and experience the Lord’s joy…
As I was listening to “Boldly I Approach” over and over and over – I had it on ‘loop’ – I was seeing how black and white God is on this subject…
If Jesus went all the way and took on himself our sin and says that He’s returning for salvation without reference to sin for those who are waiting eagerly for Him – that’s us – then it really is true that there will be no mention of sin when we meet Jesus…
so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. (Hebrews 9:28 NASB)
He can’t mention it…
He paid for it…
He abolished it…
His Father can’t resurrect it…
It is gone…
And we are accepted…
That is why “Blameless now I’m running home” as Rend Collective so eloquently state…
“Into the Arms of Majesty”…

I’d never seen myself as running to my Daddy before…
And as I listened I realized that this is exactly what I should be doing…
As I stood in our kitchen doing the dishes and reflecting I asked God to give me a big hug…
I hadn’t asked that or seen that before…
That is what I needed – a big hug from my Daddy…
For the Father truly is my Daddy…
And it is all His doing…
His Righteousness has been applied to my life and as Rend Collective again so eloquently stated, “And shields my soul eternally”…
My soul is re-born, I have a new spirit and a new heart and a righteous soul which is protected from the evil one so that he cannot touch it…
We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. (1 John 5:18 NASB)
I am safe, I died and my life is now hidden with Christ in God…
The evil one cannot touch my new creation, it is righteous forever…
This brings us great joy and great rejoicing…
The Lord dances and sings over us…
He love us…
We are so blessed…
Those who have given ourselves to Him…
Love You Lord…
Thank You for Your Joy…
In Your Blood Alone we take refuge…
🙂
