Anything which dims the Great Commission is a diminishment of what we were planned to be as the Church of the Living God…
We were not planned to be on the defensive…
We were planned to be on the offensive…
Having gone we were to…
Make…
Baptize and…
Teach…
And in doing this we were promised that Jesus would be with us…

If we are not going, making, baptizing and teaching then why do we expect Jesus to be practically with us in any other endeavour which we – as His Church – undertake?

We were bought with a price, we are not our own, we do not own our own bodies, we don’t own our own souls and we don’t own our own spirits…
If we use our bodies, souls or spirits for any other purpose than the purpose for which Christ bought them then we are robbing from God, we are stealing from God and if we are stealing from God (as an habitual way of life) why do we believe that He will bless us with His Presence and Provision?
In His Grace He will sustain us until either He delivers us from our stealing or takes us home where we will steal no more…
In these last days the time has changed…
Paul alluded to this in scripture…
It’s just not the same as before Jesus came…
He has changed everything forever…
The One with all authority has given all authority to His Church and gone back to heaven and is awaiting His Church to complete the Commission He gave Her before He left earth…
He won’t come back until it is complete…
He must have it completed as He must come back…
He has said that He will and He cannot lie…
So the Church must perform…
And perform willingly…
So He must create the willingness in the Church to perform willingly…
That is why He sent us His Holy Spirit…
That is why we are not our own – that is why our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit who resides in our spirit…
It is the Holy Spirit who will complete the work in us as we yield to Him…
Are we yielding to the Holy Spirit to live through us to complete the Commission which Jesus gave us?
Or are we asking the Holy Spirit to bless our endeavours which are not in accordance with the Commission which Jesus gave us?
Because if we are, He – the Holy Spirit – will not bless these endeavours…
We know God – the Father, Jesus & the Holy Spirit – in our calls – that is how we practically know God – that is how we practically experience God – by God living through us and showing us things in reality – every day experience – of His intervention in our lives and our circumstances – as we surrender to Him to fulfill His Commission through us He blesses others and in so doing He blesses us with a knowledge of His Presence and also of His Heart in all things – we get to know Him through seeing Him interact with others through us…
This is a great blessing both to others and also to us…
And to God – for His Kingdom is coming, His will is being done on earth as it is in heaven and His Name is being Hallowed – which is above everything else the most important thing in the universe – that His Name is Hallowed…
