When we make a new discovery in God we are excited…
We see it and then we have to live it…
To walk it…
Seeing it is often easier than walking it…
When we see it it is perfect and complete and we see it working out before us in the vision which God is giving us…
Living it or walking it is often a lot harder…
It actually seems that our lives are taking a turn away from what God has shown us…
The PITÂ (Prophet in Training) was an acronym which a Worship Leader (whom I respect) mentioned once in a prophetic word which she gave to a member of our youth community at a worship gathering she was leading…
It seems like you’re in the pit (Jeremiah comes to mind) but God is actually fulfilling His Purposes through you in this strange place which seems to be a U turn to what He has just shown you…
Why would God turn around and tell Jeremiah to buy a piece of land when He’d been telling him for years that Jerusalem was to be destroyed?
That’s the kind of God we serve…
Always surprising us…
And once we understand it’s always a pleasant surprise…
He controls everything…
Nothing happens to us that He does not permit…
No one can know anything about us that He does not permit…
We are safe in His Hands…
Likewise we can know nothing about another person’s life or future which He has not chosen to reveal to us…
He reveals what we need to know when we need to know it…
If we don’t know, we don’t need to know…
If we’re going backwards and can’t understand why this is happening when its not what He’s shown us then we need to be going backwards – He has a lesson to teach us…
Nothing is wasted and all things work together for good to those who love God…
That’s us – His Children…
