God’s interest right now (apart from all the other things which He is interested in constantly with respect to our individual wellbeing) is in the salvation of Jerusalem…
I’ve been ‘quiet’ recently because He told me to be, I’ve ‘lain down’ my ‘blogging’ because this is what He told me to do…
But I am released today to continue ‘blogging’ whatever is on my heart to ‘blog’…
I have put my family first – their individual wellbeing – and now I am released to focus ‘out’ with whatever ‘spare’ time the Lord gives me (in my present circumstances and position) to what He is wanting to achieve world wide…
And Israel, Jerusalem specifically, is on His Heart…
I will keep speaking about this – I will not hold my tongue on this until He makes Jerusalem the praise of the earth as His scripture has said…
And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isaiah 62:7 NASB)
It will be the praise of the earth – as people from all around the world will be able to look at Jerusalem and see the Glory of God shining forth from her people, from Jews and Gentiles alike – one new man – shining forth His Glory…
And there will be other cities which will also become a praise in the earth – where God’s Glory will dwell in the midst of all His People – but this city – Jerusalem will (I believe) be the first – a praise in all the earth…
This is why there is such resistance and such a fight against the peace of Jerusalem – which God has specifically commanded us in scripture to pray for – why? because Jerusalem’s peace is her salvation…
Not just physical peace but the peace of God which transcends all understanding…
When this peace fills the streets of Jerusalem her inhabitants will be saved – they will experience His Salvation…
For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning. (Isaiah 62:2 NASB)
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. (Psalm 122:6 NASB)
Why should we pray for the peace of Jerusalem?
The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the LORD will designate. (Isaiah 62:2 NASB)
So that the nations will see her glory and be saved…
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 NASB)
For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? (Romans 11:15 NASB)
This is the revival which we have all been waiting for and it will spark other revivals which have been prophesied from of old…
that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. (John 17:21 NASB)
