I’m feeling heavy of heart…
There’s a burden I’m feeling…
I’m feeling for those who have been waiting on His Word for a long time…
“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. (Habakkuk 2:3 NASB)
I’m going to cry…
Such pain…
Such pain…
“How long Lord”…
I hear the cries of the hearts…
“How long Lord?”…
We are all waiting for His Word…
We are all given portions at our appointed time…
“Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? (Matthew 24:45 NASB)
Even Jesus was withheld from eating after starvation set in to prove that man shall not live on bread alone but on every word which proceeds from the Mouth of God…
It was submission…
Do we trust God?
It really is that simple…
We are stretched purposefully by God…
What?
We are stretched purposefully by God…
Yes, we are…
He wants to stretch us to remove our flesh from us…
Anything of the flesh cannot believe God…
It cannot please God and it cannot believe God…
Because without faith it is impossible to please God…
And faith is a gift of God…
So He stretches us…
We can’t “hold on”…
We feel like we’re going to “let go”…
We “give up”…
I’ve been through this (again I have to say) just recently…
Too hard…
Everything was too hard…
He brought me a lot of stress at work with a lot of deadlines – just too much work to handle – and then He brought into the mix a problem with the rental we’re in – too much – all at once – but that is His plan – to remove our flesh from us – so we see it…
So we have “no leg to stand on”…
So we admit that we (our flesh) can’t believe – we can’t remain “quiet” in faith – and we learn to trust Him even in our “giving up” and seeing Him “come through” and lift us up to that place of faith again…
Is this encouraging anyone (smiling) – I believe it will – it’s encouraging me just sharing it…
He showed me a picture…
I was standing – standing on His Word – the things which He has spoken to me…
And He showed me that faith was standing on His Word even in the face of failure…
Even as His Word appeared to have failed – to stand and as the ground was literally removed from underneath me so that it looked like I’d fall from my “high” (standing on faith) position and I looked down – I saw that as I “stood” with faith alone – no visible means of support it was as if He retained a small almost invisible piece of ground underneath me and it was almost as if I stood on air and turned the tide to bring back the rest of the land around and underneath me…
Even as the Word seems to have failed – believe…
To believe in the face of failure is faith…
That is what I believe He has shown me…
Unshakeable faith…
Our God is the God of the resurrection…
Remember this…
Did Jesus think He’d failed on the cross?
He held on like I described above – all the way through God’s wrath…
He held on…
So can we – and so will we because everyone who is born of God overcomes the world – and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith…
God delights to test our faith…
We should not be surprised…
If it’s easy and it’s something we can believe then most likely it’s not of God…
If it’s impossible and something which we could never achieve and don’t even know how God will achieve it – then it’s more likely to be of God…
Faith overcomes obstacles…
God gives faith…
God gives us His Holy Spirit…
Faith – trusting God – delights the Heart of God…
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego delighted the Heart of God in the fiery furnace…
Whether He delivers us or not we will not bow down to your idol and we know He can deliver us…
That’s good…
That’s really good…
Doesn’t matter if things go well for me – I will trust God – whether I see Him soon or later I will trust Him…
Whatever He does – I will trust Him – this delights the Heart of God…
Wait for His Word – wait for the fulfilment…
Desire accomplished is sweet to the soul…

Go with it – if you want to “give up” then “give up” – He will carry you – He cannot deny Himself and His Spirit within you will create faith in your heart which will carry you, Love you, Andrew – trust Him in this and “give up” – He has been faithful to me when I’ve done this, Love, Andrew… 🙂 )
