I’ve been seeing more about Israel…

Paul said so clearly in Galatians 3…

Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. (Galatians 3:7 NASB)

Abraham had a son, Isaac and he was “of faith” so he was a son of Abraham, i.e. blessed with Abraham the believer…

So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer. (Galatians 3:9 NASB)

Isaac had a son, Jacob and he was “of faith” so he was a son of Abraham, i.e. blessed with Abraham the believer…

Abraham had another son who was not “of faith” and was not blessed with Abraham the believer, Ishmael…

Isaac had another son who was not “of faith” and was not blessed with Abraham the believer, Esau…

When Jesus spoke to the Jews who had believed in Him, i.e. believed everything that He had said thus far, in John 8 and brought up this point about Abraham and them doing the works of Abraham, they failed the test…

They didn’t believe that He was I AM like He was saying that He was but Abraham did – Abraham recognised Jesus when He appeared to him when Jesus and the two angels came and sat with him outside his tent and Sarah prepared the meal…

Before he talked with Jesus about what He was going to do to Sodom & Gomorrah…

Jesus made it very clear in John 8 that being a physical descendent of Abraham through Jacob does not mean that you are a spiritual descendent of Abraham and an heir according to promise – you may be a physical descendent of Abraham through Jacob and be “of your father the devil”…

If you are a physical descendent of Abraham through Jacob and also “of faith” then you are of all men the most blessed – this is my opinion – you have such a rich lineage in the things of God both in your bloodline and also in your spiritual bloodline but if you have the spiritual “DNA” of Abraham the believer – as we all do who have been born of God from among the Gentiles – as the scripture promised beforehand to Abraham (and Abraham was saved before circumcision, i.e. before he became a Jew “physically”) that in him all the nations of the earth would be blessed – then you are more blessed than a physical descendent of Abraham through Jacob who is not “of faith” as that one will spend eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone but you will not…

So, Paul says – in agreement with Jesus…

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God. (Romans 2:28-29 NASB)

There is a day coming where every single physical descendent of Abraham – via Jacob – will also be a spiritual descendent of Abraham – via Isaac, via Jesus – and these ones will remain until He comes – they will be protected during the last three and a half years of human time – the time of Jacob’s Trouble – before the millennial reign of Christ on earth…

We, those who are sons of Abraham by faith and heirs according to promise are also part of Israel – we have wrestled with God and have prevailed in receiving His blessing – as Jacob our spiritual father through Abraham did also – we are princes with God – heirs of God – all sons of God in Christ Jesus – we will reign with Christ on the earth for a thousand years – it’s always been about faith…

Never about blood…

Yes, about Blood – His Blood and faith in His Blood – but never about physical blood or lineage or inheritance through physical, genetic lineage…

The day of the Lord’s favour – the epoch which we find ourselves in presently – will come to a close with Jesus returning to Jerusalem – to a temple – to reign – to sit on a physical throne – the throne of His father David – to reign in Jerusalem – from Jerusalem – for a thousand years…

All those who are translated up to meet Him in the air as He comes down before His feet touch the Mount of Olives will be transformed “in the twinkling of an eye” into His Image and will be like Him forever…

He is Lord!!!

We are – those of us who believe in Jesus and have believed in Jesus for all time – the true Israel of God…

We are the ones who have wrestled with God and have prevailed with Him to be blessed by Him – blessed by Him with salvation – we can take no credit for this – but we are the ones who have turned our faces towards Him, cried out to Him, sought His Face, kept seeking Him, kept imploring Him to show us His Glory and kept going “through thick and thin” to know Him in this world – we are truly “the heros of faith” (we are the ones who have fulfilled “the beatitudes”) – all of us – without exception (through the new heart, the new spirit and the righteous soul which He has given us – by Grace we were saved through Faith and this not from ourselves – it was His Gift so that we cannot boast)…

Everyone who has believed is a son or daughter of God in Christ Jesus and is a descendent – a true descendent – of Abraham the believer…

Abraham was promised that his seed would possess the gates of their enemies – and we will – the meek shall inherit the earth – and we will – we will reign with Him on the earth…

The Fullness of the Gentiles will come in…

And all Israel shall be saved…

All Israel includes every physical descendent of Jacob left alive on earth at the time of His return – all these will be believers in Jesus – and also every spiritual descendent of Abraham left alive on earth at the time of His return – All Israel – shall be saved…

All Israel includes the Fullness of the Gentiles – the Fullness of the Gentiles is a sub-set of All Israel…

Isaiah 45 speaks to us,

Israel has been saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You will not be put to shame or humiliated To all eternity. (Isaiah 45:17 NASB)

This is the truth…

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11 NASB)

In the spiritual Israel is the Chosen Race…

In the spiritual Israel is all of the Elect of God…

In the natural Israel was a chosen race and they will be chosen again before He comes to reign – they will be purged and cleansed and take their place – their rightful place in the Israel of God – as both natural and spiritual branches in the vine which has their root in the natural – the root of the faith of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob – the Patriarchs…

Moses came later and the Law is not our inheritance – but Moses was himself of the faith of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob – but our “descendent-ship” (I think I’ve coined a new word there) is measured not through Moses but through Abraham…

We are not under Law but under Grace and we “are blessed” because we are “of faith” – beautiful… 🙂

So when scripture speaks of Israel its not just “cut and dried” which Israel scripture is speaking of…

It could be physical Israel, i.e. the physical descendants of Abraham through Jacob…

It could be physical & spiritual Israel, i.e. the physical descendants of Abraham through Jacob who are also “of faith”, i.e. believers in Jesus…

It could be non-physical but spiritual Israel, i.e. the non-physical descendents of Abraham through Jacob who are “of faith”, i.e. Gentile believers in Jesus…

Or it could be physical & non-physical spiritual Israel, i.e. all the Elect of God from all time from every tribe, kindred, tongue and nation worshipping before the Throne of God…

Wherever that Throne might be at any point in time (God will give you wisdom)… 🙂

All Israel shall be saved…

None whom the Father gives to Jesus will be lost – none from all time…

As Jesus said,

The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. (John 8:35 NASB)

And,

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise. (Galatians 3:26-29 NASB)

You are Worthy Jesus!!!

Worthy to Reign!!!

You are the King of the Jews!!!

Never a truer word was spoken – and You laid down Your life for Your true subjects – those who would come to know You in their hearts – who would have their hearts circumcised by Your Spirit which You poured out upon them without measure – come Holy Spirit and breathe on these slain that we might come to life all over the world and serve You, serve You Jesus, serve You Father, serve You Lord – You are the Great I AM and we bow before You tonight – the entire household of faith – and we worship You – to You belongs eternal praise and we – true Israel – will give You that Eternal Praise for all Eternity – You are Worthy!!!

And Your Blood Conquers All!!!
