The Lord has really been ministering to me on this subject…
Gary and I were having a chat about this over on “the spirit of Satan” thread…
I’ve been listening to some sermons on youtube where the Lord has really been challenging me to “come up” to the correct understanding of God’s Provision on the cross…
The Atonement…
Beautiful word…
The Atonement…
Hallelujah!!!
I am filled with joy…
As we shared communion at our Prophetic Intercessors group here in Christchurch on Friday evening the Lord gave me a word or an understanding with the word, “The Full Provision of the Atonement” – He said it twice…
And as He said it I saw the enormity of the Atonement – the Full Provision – all my sin, all my sickness, all my grief and sadness – everything that I could ever imagine – it all landed on Jesus – so that all my sin and all the results of it – everything which I deserved to carry both “vertically” towards God and “horizontally” towards my fellowman – was carried by Christ on the cross…
It is Finished…
What a powerful word…
The Creator of the Universe speaking, “It is Finished”…
His Creation – His new creation was finally finished…
He did it…
He did it…
He did it…
I just can’t help myself as I share this I am weeping with gratitude towards the Lord…
It is so deep…
What He did none of us will ever be able to fathom…
How could a Human Frame handle that kind of pain…
And that kind of suffering…
We may think we know something of pain but we know nothing compared to what He Voluntarily went through on our behalf that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him…
O Hallelujah Lord – You are so worthy…
Tonight/this morning He led me to Psalm 103 – I’ve been thinking about our righteous soul and wanted to go to this Psalm as I knew that David’s soul was blessing the Lord – his righteous soul – and I was blessed with a revelation into the following verse…
Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; (Psalm 103:3 NASB)
Wow…
When we see this in faith it becomes real to us…
I have read that scripture I don’t know how many times…
But tonight it became real to me…
Praise You Jesus…
You are Wonderful…
You are Wonderful…
You are Wonderful…
I can never thank You enough for all that You have done for me – making me righteous when I was sinful – giving me new life when I was dead – and healing me from all my diseases when I was lost in sickness and death…
You healed me…
And now I am experiencing Your Healing…
I really feel to throw it out there to anyone reading this – let’s agree together in prayer – let’s pray for each other in the specifics of healing which we require – these are the Lord’s benefits to us – as part of His Gift to us at the Atonement…
This is a free will thing…
This is not trying to drum up faith or force ourselves to believe or strive to believe…
If there’s just a sense in your heart, “Yes, this is what I want – I know the Lord has given me this”, then pray – let’s share our needs for healing with each other and pray for each other so that we might be healed – Praise You Jesus – I’m not asking anyone to confess any sins but if you really want to you can (if the Lord is leading you)… π
I’ll start off – I’m short sighted +6.25 in my right eye and +6.00 (I think) in my left eye…
I’d like to be healed so I don’t need to wear or continue buying contact lenses and the solution which goes with it…
That money can go somewhere else – be better spent by the Lord…
Let’s pray for each other… π
Love in the Lord,
Andrew
Andrew,
I’m a firm believer that Jesus Christ is our Healer. All of the promises in the Bible are yes and amen to the glory of God.
I wanted to share a testimony, a brother shared years ago. This brother was an older gentleman. I know he believed in divine healing, but I did not know if he prayed for this specific healing or what happened before this time.
This man always wore glasses, He told the story one time that he was in the yard raking leaves, and when he looked around everything became very blurry. He thought he was having a problem with his glasses so he took them off and found, he could see perfectly without them. The Lord totally healed his eyes from that day forward. He had good eyes the rest of his life on this earth.
I am believing God will restore my eyes as well, I have to wear glasses and I hate wearing them.
Reading a good book right now. It was written by Dr. Lillian Yeoman. She was around at the turn of the century, part of the old time revivalists. I think she ended up leaving the medical profession and started a home. She took the most seriously ill people with totally incurable diseases and shared scriptures with them on divine healing. In almost every case they ended up totally healed.
I bought this book over the internet on CBD and I think they were out of print. So I am excited to find out what all the Lord showed her on this subject.
I have been thinking of going through the NT and writing down every scripture on divine healing, and memorizing them. Thy Word have I hid in my heart comes to mind. Also there are many good healing verses in the OT as well, Psalms, proverbs, etc..
GaryB
We are in agreement here Gary, Father in Jesus Name You said that if two of you agree on earth about whatsoever they may ask that it would be given us by our Father in heaven – Gary and I agree that both of us will have perfect eyesight for the remainder of our lives… We trust You Lord and will believe and praise You (I feel the joy coming :-)) until we see it manifest in the natural – Praise You Jesus – You are the Healer and You purchased our Salvation – our Complete Salvation – on the cross – Praise Your Wonderful Name – Hallelujah!!! – Yes, increase our faith by leading us to scriptures which speak to us of Your Faithfulness – Imprint these scriptures on our hearts Holy Spirit in a Divine Knowing which Jesus had when He walked the earth – an Intimacy with You where He could “draw down” the riches of heaven as You led Him – in submission to You – following Your leading in Your timing – Praise You Jesus – give us faith as we wait for the Promises to be fulfilled – for they will be – every single one – Praise You Jesus, Thank You Father, Thank You Lord, Thank You Holy Spirit… π
Ps. I just watched this very moving testimony… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdUGoFTfP7w
Andrew
Blessed by this video. I have a number of good books on this subject.
As for divine healing, it is hard for me to understand why so many reject this teaching, when it is very plain in the Word of God.
If God promised us Abraham’s blessings then Praise His Holy Name I receive it. I am rereading the Old Testament and am now in the part about Abraham and his sojourn on the earth. I have purposely slowed down my reading here and want to take a good look at Abraham and how the Lord dealt with him in things he was confronted with.
I thought it was interesting when Sarah stood in the door and inwardly laughed, God brought this to her attention. Sarah denied laughing maybe because it was not outwardly. But the Lord said, you did laugh.
The whole point of this is, God is looking on the inward man and his thoughts. This agrees with the sermon on the mount. This may be hard to convey my thoughts here on this matter as we all know this to some degree.
It just leaped out at me while reading this portion of scripture.
Any rate we are blessed because of faithful Abraham, Praise God, He has richly blessed us in all things and it was all done at the Cross. Divine healing is ours!
I realize some always bring up you have to die. Yes we have to die but we do not have to go out with disease ridden bodies.
It just seems if we are dwelling in the presence of the Spirit of life we will be partakers of His light.
GaryB
Amen brother your thoughts about death encouraged me, “Yes we have to die but we do not have to go out with disease ridden bodies. It just seems if we are dwelling in the presence of the Spirit of life we will be partakers of His light”, beautiful Gary and I say, “Amen brother”… π
James 5:13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
When you read these verses, then your presented with the example below that is in the same context. Good example showing that nothing is impossible with our God who reigns on high.
James 5:17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
Faith is the confidence in your heart that the Lord is well able and willing to take care of us as His children. I woke up this morning with this song on my heart; Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me. He alone is worthy of all Praise and Honor.
GaryB
Amen Gary, You’re encouraging my faith… π Yes Lord… π
Andrew,
Matt. 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Deuteronomy 9:5
It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Matt. 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
The Bible from cover to cover speaks of God healing and providing for His people.
2 Peter 1:3-5
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
God’s Word is God’s Will for us. Praise God at the cross it was all paid for.
Many today explain away the Word of God, and its the very thing that will help and deliver a man from all the burdens this life has to offer.
More thoughts on healing here I am sure the Lord has shown this to you but its always good when we are reminded of the promises of God. He says to seek Him first and His righteousness. The other things are the benefits He loads us with.
Praise His Holy Name.
GaryB
Amen brother, Thank you again for encouraging me and ministering to me, Awesome to read of the fact that Jesus healed all different types of diseases and I especially like what you shared, “He says to seek Him first and His righteousness. The other things are the benefits He loads us with.” Love you brother, the Lord is really increasing my faith in this area – I know that when the Lord speaks into us like this that He is preparing us for something – to release this blessing to others – get ready brother – I feel that you will be used to distribute this healing – this healing blessing to all those around you – who are in your sphere or about to be in your widened sphere of influence – Praise the Lord – be ready brother you are being prepared for being a conduit of the power of God expressed through you in healing – and through your wife – Praise You Jesus – you are blessing me brother – Love you, Andrew
Psalm 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
I heard of an event that took place years ago out in the western part of the country. There was a huge fire that swept through thousands of acres of land, destroying everything in its path. Nothing remained but a black charred landscape, where no trees could be seen for miles.
A number of Forest Rangers were sent out in teams to survey the damage. After walking for a length of time they were amazed at how great a damage the fire had caused to this forest.
One of the Forest Rangers while walking came upon a black clump laying on the soil and he kicked it out of his way. To his surprise a bunch of baby chicks went scurrying around. When he examined the black clump he found that it was the mother hen who gave her life and protected the baby chicks from this great fire.
We as Christians have this same protection, the word says He will cover us with His feathers and under His wings we will take refuge. Just before this it promises that God will deliver us from the perilous pestilence.
His truth is a shield and buckler, for those who believe it
GaryB
Praise You Jesus, that brought tears to my eyes Gary, that is just beautiful, Thank You Jesus… π
When I first heard this story it brought tears to my eyes as well. Our God is faithful in all things. Praise His Holy Name.
Lord bless your time off for vacation and may He watch over you and your family, and set His angels around about you. I pray God will grant you safe traveling mercies. The steps of a good man is ordered of the Lord.
Lord Bless,
GaryB
Thank you Gary, We had a lovely time and connected with my sister and her family, Love in the Lord, Andrew
Please remember to pray for a brother who is a dear friend. His name is Lance he is battling Parkinsons disease, but he is trusting the Lord to heal him. The Lord has been giving him many dreams and visions of the endtimes. He literally spends most of the day in intercession and worship of God.
GaryB
I will definitely take Lance before the Lord Gary, Let’s give him to the Lord now and say (and we do say Lord), “Your will be done for Lance – let Your Purpose be performed for Lance on earth as it is in heaven” – You know Lord when it is “our time” to come to You – what we (Gary and I) ask of You is, “Is it Lance’s time to come to You Lord?” – If it is then take him but take him in peace – trusting in You – but if it’s not show us that it’s not and let us contend/fight for his healing – in the Mighty Name of Jesus – we bring this situation before You Lord…
I would be very interested in Lance sharing – if he feels able – what the Lord has been showing him – I always find what the Lord shares in suffering is very pure…
Love in the Lord,
Andrew
Ps. I will contend until I know whether he is meant to go home now or live on on this earth…
Hi Gary, As I was in prayer just now, minding my own business I got a joy in my heart that Lance would be healed – we are now in agreement Gary for Lance’s healing – it’s not the Lord’s time to take him yet – he will live… π Praise You Jesus… π Thank You Lord… π
The joy of the Lord is our strength – he will live and rejoice in the Lord (until the end of his life)… π
Matthew 18:19
19 βAgain I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
This scripture among many scriptures leaves no doubt that God will heal an individual that comes to the Lord in faith.
God always honors his promises, and He is not a man that He should lie. Anytime we leave room for doubt that God will fulfill what He promised leaves room for doubting what God has said in His word.
Dr. Lillian Yeoman a Christian used mightily by the Lord at the turn of the century took the most serious cases of diseased individuals and had a 100% recovery to normal health by using prayer and the Word of God. Looking only to Jesus to bring them into the realm of health.
If your thinking in your heart the guy might die, it is hard for me to see anyone trusting the Lord to heal. The Bible promises are true and can be appropriated.
I have seen numerous healings that were confirmed by medical science that the person was totally delivered. In several situations the Doctor had to agree that a miracle had taken place, as medical science did not have the knowledge to heal a person.
I’m just making a point here Andrew, can you honestly see someone coming to Jesus wanting healing and the Lord saying, Well I’ll pray but it might be time for you to go home? π
Mark 1:40-41
40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, βIf You are willing, You can make me clean.β
41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, βI am willing; be cleansed.β
Jesus came to the cross and is willing to forgive our sins and heal our bodies, but we must be willing to fully trust Him
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
He forgives all our iniquities and all of our disease.
GaryB
Here’s the thing Gary…
God has a purpose for each and every one of His children…
All the days ordained for me were written in Your Book before one of them came to be…
I can only claim what the Lord gives me to claim…
Jesus is the Healer…
With Holly the Lord told me to pray for her, the Lord through me said that she would be healed, I had a talk to her yesterday at church and she’s believing, I could tell by her smile (she doesn’t talk a lot) and another lady at church shared that the Lord had shown her that Holly would be healed…
I can’t make “declarations” unless the Lord gives it to me in my heart…
Rees Howells was healed by God over and over and over…
He was a man who was greatly used of God…
When his last battle came those around him were surprised that he didn’t fight as he had previously and “stand up” and “claim” his healing – he just “let go” because he knew that it was his time…
We are in God’s Hands…
He decides when it is time for us to go home…
He used a heart attack to take Rees home…
He can do what He wants with us – it is our ticket to glory – through out his life Rees didn’t have sickness or disease claim him – his body was free from disease…
He nearly died a number of times…
I haven’t had a word from the Lord regarding Lance, I will keep waiting…
Love in the Lord,
Andrew
I bumped into an old friend today as I biked down the footpath and he was going in the opposite direction… His wife had had a serious head injury and was only able to work part time and used to get migraines and needed to rest/sleep a lot from what I remember her telling me…
I remember really crying out to the Lord about her situation as I felt it was sad as she was so bright and intelligent…
Anyway, I asked my old friend today how she was and he said that she was now completely back to normal and busier than she’d ever been…
This made me very happy, I feel that this is an answer to prayer…
They were unable to have children because of this but I pray now Lord that You would release this to them if that is Your will…
Praise You Jesus…
Establish them with others whom You have chosen for them to walk with in You…
Love You Lord…
